Take the victory, RRR.

Someone has to make the donuts while everyone else sleeps.

19 hours and change at the shpo Monday and Tuesday. Two learnings.

1- The GMC Traverse shares the same engine as the Chevy Equinox. If you have either and it starts to leak any amount of oil, get rid of it quickly. Once they get that oil sickness (maybe Oil Slickness is better), each fix is temporary.

2- The average mechanic has over $100,000 in tools. The mechanic I was talking with has $120k in his. And you never stop paying for them. Tools have limited warrantees and do break. Auto manufacturers also switch out and create new parts by design, making them more complex, making mechanics buy new tools and making it nearly impossible for average Joes to fix anything.

Better Than Average Dans also have to deal with demanding garage owners as well.

So Yesterday I get home from the courthouse all geared up like I'm packed for Deployment... Military folks know that feeling... So I swing by the only watering hole left in this City and all the regulars were in there around 4:30ish and other folks were showing up for the Big City Queen Of Hearts drawing for a Tuesday night... I dropped of paperwork I'd discovered for the Bartender and low and behold the loudmouth know it all, butts into our business.... So during the regular ball season I'll load the Jukebox from home with my Touchtunes App. with Go Cubs Go (Cuz this guy hates that song) and then a nice slow 18 1/2 minutes of Arlo Guthery's Alices Restaurant!!! So Bartender calls me, He says these guys know you played these songs? I said Yea, let Mr. Loudmouth chew on that for awhile!!! Herfing Herfing Beer

It's always nice to get a new tool. I always wanted a rollaway tool chest with the soft close drawers, and now I have one. Got all my craftsman and Ryobi tools in there, arranged nicely. Still got lots of room for more tools. Anxious

I have enough to do the maintenance I am comfortable doing myself.

My tools have never been arranged nicely. I do have the screwdrivers are in one drawer.

For the free space, perhaps a rolling liquor cabinet?

I have three rolling toolbox benches. One from Home Despot. one from Harbor Fraud, and one from an auction. They are great in use and their mobility is another plus. I've finally gotten to replace tools after use. The result is a HUGE saving in aggravation, cursing, and time not needed to search for a tool.

Mine were arranged nicely one time. I bought a giant tool chest and labeled the drawers, laid out everything orderly, put up pegboard and bins behind my workbench and hung things.

Now there's some general order but a drawer full of loose sockets isn't easy to find the one size I need to grab.

Also the toolbox is too full and the workbench is piled up and there's just tools everywhere. But I do know where things are.

12,000 steps and counting, but I still need 6 zone minutes to get to my 60 daily. Might get it... might not. This recliner is awful comfy.

Yes I thought it was, I recall seeing this sign 2 years ago when the Mrs. and I were headed up 95 to Savahna Ga. from the Keys on our trip running through J'Ville interstate and I got a smile on my face and reflected on that TDY... I also took the Mrs. to Playalinda Beach area to get Neked on the Beach Pier 13. she didn't believe me when I told her I was like 22 years old when an old Ironworker took my brother and me on a fishing trip, showed up in his van with cases of beer on ice in the cooler.. it started out as a Drunkin Trip and ended up with ol'Pete pulling up to the Nudest beach stripping off his close and saying Lets go have some fun!!! being young and cautious my brother and I only stripped down to our tightly whities and went for a stroll.. nothing but old wrinkeled up Old folks enjoying the sun and surf!!! d'oh! a Sight you cannot get out of your head no matter how many beers in the cooler!!! Beer Beer then I got to thinkin CHIT... were them old wrinkly people now!!! Brick wall Brick wall Whistle

No, just paper targets. We had one cat that visited, but it has since moved on or maybe the owner keeps it at home now. In our neighborhood bulletin I mentioned the cat visiting after someone accused the foxes of killing their cat. The cat visited between visits from our local fox population

A fox might kill a kitten, but they don't generally attack things that can hurt them.

Got me a new chefs knife from Japan. Holy sharpness Batman!! I'm in love with it, and with my new butchers knife. If you like to cook at home and don't have a good chefs knife, buy a Japanese knife. It really is noticably different. I wish I would of bought a real chefs knife years ago other than the crap that comes in the kitchen block sets.
