Wassup, Robert? Been a bit dryer than normal here, too. Been running the sprinklers.

Wife has been in Orlando with her ladies church group for the last 2 days. Should be home soon.

Hasn't rained in a few weeks and my lawn is not looking as good as it should in a couple spots, but nothing deadly. Be prepared for the winds and rain for the coming storm.

All differences aside, when your wife comes to Orlando, I'll put you up in an extra bedroom and we can find common ground and herf our brains out. We will treat you like a king...

Differences in opinions never bothered me much. Al and I spent lots of time together when I lived in SoCal and always had a good time. I appreciate the offer of hospitality.

Nah, just a 2D laser all in one. Big and heavy, my last one lasted 11 years, hopefully I get similar from this one.

Sounds like a serious printer. I used to have some big HP network printers, but for the last 15 or so years it's a little Brother networked laser printer, the smallest one with a paper drawer, but we do not print a lot.

I got a Brother laserjet printer/copier/scanner. Cost me about $100 off Amazon IIRC... been working like a champ for a few years. Ain't changed the ink yet, either. But I don't use it a lot.

Yep... just checked. When I bought it in 03/2019 it was $108 and change... now it's $219. OhMyGod

92 heading to 98. It actually will not break 100 for the first time in what feels like two months. I guess I should set up Halloween decorations.

Iffn ya would take the battery out and pedal that bike like you're supposed to ya wouldn't need to be on a diet tubby. Next you can put little batteries on roller skates so you don't have to walk.

Kids now days! Not talking

And good morning the rest of youse. Just finished a 5 miler in 92 headed for 112. Looking forward to our next trip to Alaska in early Sept.

Waiting for hurricane to hit northwest of here. Intermittent feeder-band rain and wind will begin later today/tonight. Current path is for a very indirect hit, but going to prepare by taking in all my pool furniture and plants. Got the neighborhood kid coming over tonight to help me. Daughter is on way down here for here move from Detroit back to Bocca Raton. Looking forward to seeing her and her fiancé for the next few days. Heading out to the beach to hang out with my best friend today Have a good one!

LMAO! Screw you DED! LOL I'm already down to 188 so my "tubby" arse is only about 8-10 lbs away from my ideal.

Already did the dog walk and 45 minutes on the treadmill, so 6.5 miles and 119 zone minutes before noon. Took down the Easy-Up canopy over my wife's veggies but I still need to fertilize before the damn rain comes. Everything but the Waffle House prolly be closed tomorrow... heavy rain and 30 mph winds are the current prediction.

Hope the gym is open. I ain't skeered.

I think Stinger is in Destin. They're getting hammered by flood water from what I understand.

Jax usually avoids the worst of it. Again, we'll see...

The storm track has it hitting the least populated part of Florida. Deer and pine trees. A shift south more towards Tampa would be very bad.

Scrapped the beater today.

Went out to get it ready to sell. Took the rest of my stuff out, put all the interior trim back on, engine beauty cover back on, vacuumed and scrubbed some of the trim/door cards that had clay mud caked on them. Went in to get a roll of quarters for the coin op car wash, came out and started it. Belts squealed for a lil bit which it always did but then they stopped and there was smoke and the battery light came on. Turned it off, alternator was seized up and the belt broke off. Check alternator price at autozone, $275. Screw that, I was hoping to get $500 for the car.

Called a couple junkyards got prices between $80 and $200. Called another one that doesn't buy total junk, has to be fairly decent and he asked if it ran and drove - yes. Passed emissions? Yes. Said he could probably do $250 but wanted to see it. Towed it there and he came out to look at it, saw the new power steering pump and asked if there was anything else new on it I told him starter, PS pump, and the whole exhaust were new this year, and fresh tank of gas 2 weeks ago. And I told him I had a catalytic converter in the bed of my truck too if he'd buy that. Gave me $350.

Went to the Trek store and ordered a new bicycle.

All of youse in the path on the storm, please stay safe. Mother nature is extremely powerful and periodically lets us know that we can't control her. We think we can but as the saying goes... "It's not nice to fool Mother nature."

Sure did 13 married, 19 since our first date. Happy anniversary frank n tlc Beer

Boy was born on the 27th so it's not really acknowledged in our house. Except when the boy didn't want to go out for breakfast at an expensive breakfast place that we've had a gift card to for years. Then we said we're going out for anniversary breakfast.

I’m going Contrarian.

Take some chances. Live on the edge a bit. You might end up with interesting stories to tell people.

Lmk what you came up with.
