70-93 degrees today. Went to the gym and was reminded that the undergrads are back in town. Hoping their new semester resolutions will die down soon so I can use the cable machines again.

Meh... the brother probably isn't up to speed on the 500 rules, and you have to admit... medical school is a damn big deal.

Something to be proud of, fuh sho, fuh sho... cut him a little slack, eh?

Good Tuesday afternoon to All! It's 92° going to 99° today. Got up early to be first in line at the blood draw & pee testing. Time for the annual checkup.

Got home in time to have breakfast then off to the range. For the first time in month, I was accompanied by my wife. The surgeon released here yesterday, her recovery was excellent and fast.

She has been doing dry fire practicing with her rifle set up on the dining room table. Last night she decided she was ready for a trip to the range. She shot very well today, especially after such a long time off. When we got hoe she said she is ready to go back tomorrow.

Any of you guys in the praying or sending good juju mode, please send some to my friend Larry, his liver is failing from a tumor and he is not doing very well. Got a call from his niece today, he is one tough, wise and independent hombre but he is pretty sick right now.

Thank You.

Ugh going on shift work because of the high heat. I'm stuck on the 3pm-7am shift. At least it's only the rest of the week.

Did 20 hours and 4 minutes the last two days. Am done for the week.
Boss was an azz yesterday, so I avoided him like Small Pox in 1887. Think I I said three words to him all day.
It was beautiful and peaceful.

You know the rules, Ram... never lose a bid.

Puppy dog has an appt at 11:40am today... hopefully it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to remove his toenail.

Needs a good teeth cleaning, too... may as well do that while he's under anesthesia. d'oh!

Where's that "Mac's is now broke" emoji?

Accidentally won a bid last night. A hint of remorse this morning, but at under $4 per, I'll take 'em.

$450 today... blood draw, local anesthetic and ripping the nail off, plus antibiotics and pain meds.

$600-800 First week of August when they remove the whole thing and scrub his choppers.

You are winning- for now. $960 for front and rear brakes. But I'll pass you up in dental alone. A crown next month (approx $1,000 for that out of pocket) and then we'll play with the ticker in November\December.

Remember full well, a lot of people have it much worse than I do.

Yup... It sucks, as do all unexpected expenses, but I am blessed that I have the $$ to do it.

Contractually obligated... when you adopt a pet you gotta love 'em and pay for all their sheit until you die or they do. d'oh!

This. When we adopted our latest, there was a question on the application that asked “Under what circumstances would you decide to return your adopted dog?”

Uh….none!
