You pickin' up TLC today? Or does she have to stay a couple days?

Pray Pray

Healing wishes.

just got her home less than an hour ago.
she's debating whether or not to take a dose of oxi...my unrequested opinion was iff'n you are only considering it you probably don't need it...try tylenol instead.

she's got pain but seems to be doing ok...might be on a false high from getting out so I expect a crash in an hour or two.

I hafta go to CVS soon to get her new pills, looks like she's getting started on a couple calcium types (never knew thyroid had anything to do with that) and synthetic thyroid stuff, then they'll tweak the meds after blood tests over the next few weeks.

missed her last night. barely slept. she called super early just to make sure I wasn't sleeping!

I used a few norco when I had shoulder surgery, but was able to throw about 40 of the 60 they gave me in the trash.

Used one before each physical therapy session and a few the first couple days. Plugged me up, slept like crap and my buddy said... "You dumbass, coulda got $10 a pill on the black market!" Gonz

Problem with trying Tylenol first is that it is also in Norco/Oxycodone too and if the Tylenol doesn't work you could exceed the daily Tylenol limit and damage your liver.

I guess, but turns out she hasn't taken any oxi today, just tylenol.
Kidney guy advised her to avoid ibuprophen, so not a lot of choices.
I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't take anything for pain after tonight...tougher than she thinks she is and a very quick healer, historically.

Good Saturday Evening to All! Left the house too early to post this AM. I drove down to the Red, White & Blue rifle range near Tennille, GA, down in the middle of Georgia for another ARA Match. I came in Second and managed to shoot one perfect target.

On the trip there the truck got 32.1 MPG.

Go go go.

Back deck dominoes tournament last night. River float and burgers today.

Stopped at a bar near my hometown which is under new ownership. While on a stool, the door opened and the guy who led a crew that regularly beat my assssss in high school walked in. Then I look up on the dollar wall where a bunch of dollar bills are signed with the donators name. I see the name of a crooked cop who told me 25 years ago, he was going to pull me over, and when he does, he’s going to find cocaine in my car.

Told him I don’t do coke. He said “The night I pull you over, you’ll have coke in it.”

After the Bully & Dollar showed up, decided to not wait for the third seal to be broken. Paid our bill and we left.

Going to lay down by my dish now.

iff'n I had written this, what might my friend 8 have commented?
Let's take a look...

who owns your hometown now?

how did the door get on a stool?

The bar is on the DMZ between two towns, so no ownership.

When I saw the monster walk in, I almost left my own stool sample.

I'm not a fan of narcotic pain relievers. I have it in my medical thingy to not prescribe them to me. They have their place and time for most folks but I don't like them or the risk of becoming addicted to them. That's just me. Everyone is different.

I have some American Airline miles stored up. Was gonna use some of them for a trip back to DePere around the holidays but if needed maybe me, Frank or Drafter could fly in and try to resolve the issue. My parents have a guest room and a finished basement we could use as a home base but it would be bad karma if my parents were unknowingly involved.

Do you have bail money and could we crash at your place?

Good morning to all.

Last day of Cape Cod vacation.

76F high with almost zero humidity. Even had to buy a jacket and long-sleeve shirts while here. I wore long pants, long sleaves and a light sweater to dinner last night because I was cold.

Ate 1.5 lbs. of cold lobster tail-meat (de-shelled) for lunch yesterday. $6.95/lb.!!!

Oysters and lobster bisque for dinner last night as well.

Too cold for my Florida blood, but having a GREAT time!

You’re onto something. Maybe the four of us, and MACS get together for a strategic planning session at the lounge in GB, get some food, sleep on it, and follow that same methodology for a few days, then drop off 100 pounds of birdseed at your parents place and call it a week.

For some reason I can't access the forums on my phone. The main site works fine just not the forums.

I use Firefox for most of my internet stuff both on home computer and phone and don't have issues. I don't use my phone for web browsing much, I like a bigger screen and pretty much use my cell phone as a phone and texting rather than web stuff (I might be in the minority this day and age). Also use Google's Chrome browser sometimes but I prefer Firefox. Both are available pretty much for all operating systems and devices: Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux, ChromeOS.

Microsoft, in my opinion, hasn't had a good web browser in decades. In the Mac environment, Apple's Safari web browser is OK but I still prefer Firefox or Chrome.

Opera is a nice one too but I stick with Firefox and Chrome. These are the big hitters and work with most anything.
