Looked at flightradar and checked my flight. It runs once a day and for the past 6 flights only 2 have been on time-ish. Couple were more than an hour delayed couple were 30m.

I'm betting I don't make the connection at LAX.

Just when I think the Niners are on a roll... they lose to the 2-4 Viqueers, without Justin Jefferson?

Good grief. Brick wall

Morning gents. Out to work the glutes, calves, quads and hams.

Gym later for the pecs, delts, abs, bis, tris, traps, obliqs and lats.

Then sit on my fat ass and have a cigar.

I'm home, showered, ate for the first time today. Cleaned the litter box and the dog chit on the basement floor, took the trash and recycling to the street, unpacked my bags of smelly wet clothes and started the washer. Need to mow the lawn but 10pm is a little late for that.

I want to go to bed but I'm back to work tomorrow so I gotta sleep during the day.

Texas and Arizona.
Don’t dislike either team.
Going to sit back and enjoy it.

60 degrees currently. Warmer than usual. That is going to take a turn for the colder and significantly so by the beginning of next week.

Wanted to get up early so I didn't sleep too long. Set alarm for 0600.

Phone never updated its time zone after landing so alarm went off at 0400 and woke up the wife. I slept through it. When I woke up my watch said it was 0650 but wife and boy were gone. Took a minute to figure out what happened.

Raining so I can't mow the lawn.

Just gonna be a layabout day I guess.

HHD Ram n dudes

you know the old saying "hope the team we lost to goes all the way, so the lost doesn't look so bad"... so Go DBacks!

but I've always liked Corey Seager and hated to see the Dodgers let him go...go Rangers!

83/64 in Orlando with a Mostly could. 50RH. 1% chance of rain. No swim today.

Waited for plumber to come today to install the tub and new fixtures. No show. Likely Friday.

Tomorrow they come to measure for shower glass. Wife has Thursdays off so I don't have to pick the style and glass alone and won't hear complaints if she doesn't like it. Once the shower glass is in we'll be back in the master bath!

Then comes painting the bathroom cabinets and bedroom.

We are hoping painting the cabinets instead of buying new ones to save like $10k+ more on: the cabinets, mirrors and lighting, drywall work and more tiling, new counter-tops, new sinks and fixtures. I am probably dreaming- and ignoring reality to come...

I never had an old school power car. When I was young, a neighbor down the street would buy muscle cars , rebuild them and sell them. Ford Mustangs (he had s really nice Mustang), Chevy stuff, He also did family cars like AMC Pacer and Eagle for family stuff....

Back in my late high school /early college days I bought a used Ford Maverick with a straight six out of the want adds (want adds... do they even exist any more?}. It probably cost me about $500. Reliable car for about 3 years until the heater core failed. Never had major issues with it. It always started even on the coldest of days. No engine problems or drive train problems. It was a good car for my needs but if the heater core craps out and if you live in northern Wisconsin... you kinda need a working heat in the car. Sold it to the car salvage place for like $150.

Bought a used Datsun after that. Probably another $500 from the want ads. After that was retired I went with a motorcycle.

Back in the day $500 was big money for a want ad used car. Today, $500 a month is a low ball a grocery budget.

Had a 55 chevy with the 265 cu V8 three on the tree in high school. The car had been beat on pretty hard by the time I got it. Looked good from a distance but rarely was reliable. I think I thumbed my was to school more days than I drove it.

I was so used to hitch hiking that one time I got it running and drove it to school and when class was over I thumbed home.

No muscle cars, I had a 1952 MG TD I bought from a family guy who was restoring the car, but didn't have the time. It was in pieces, the short block was done and he had run new wires, only a few were terminated in an unlabeled socket under the dash. The wires, all white insulation, had no identification tags. I had to figure out and finish the wiring and assemble the engine, then install the body parts, but I got it running.

I had a problem getting the engine to run, I had not adjusted the lifter arms. I took it to a local foreign car garage, the owner/mechanic figured it out, liked what I had done, and offered me a job.

I drove the crap out of that car on mountain roads, glad I survived.

Good Thursday Morning to All!
