Congrats Ram. Only saw a few minutes but they barely pulled it out with a late interception. That Commander (Howell) dude threw about 400 yards against them.

Spent the day prepping the lawn for winter grass. I am a few weeks late but the summer grass was looking awesome and life just got in the way. Even with the right tools, my arse got kicked and I am a sore and tired mofo. I filled ten 33-gallon trash bags with lawn schwag. Tomorrow, seed goes down, the sprinklers get adjusted and then I wait for the germination...

Why cant you just broadcast the seeds and get it to grown interspersed? Or, must it also be raked in?

Seems like WAY too much work just to have a winter lawn you have to spend money and time on installing, maintaining and watering. Last winter was so warm here my grass never went dormant. First time ever. It had to be watered 2x/week so it kept looking green like everyone elses...

I got's me Trick or Treat candy. Prolly too much but who cares. M&M's, Snickers bars, Peanut butter cups, Twix, Mike & Ike, Skittles, Starburst, Blow Pops, Sour Patch kids, Jolly Ranchers, etc... Stuff I'd eat. I should get some Smarties. Nobody seems to like them but me. Maybe I should go grab some pencils, toothbrushes, and dental floss just to be an A-hole.

Might not be able to give it all out, since I don't know Halloween traffic in my new neighborhood. Official town Trick or Treat hours are 5-7 PM. I don't do limited supplies or make rules like "just take one."

Me: Just take one hand full... Ok, since you have small hands take two handfuls.

Any leftovers will not be lost, I'll eat them. With that said, I don't strive for leftovers. If traffic is light then just give out more. If there are no leftovers, that's perfect.

Called off work. Feeling better just a little headache and runny nose/scratchy throat.

Walked with the boy to do indoor trick or treating at the church gym up the road.

Stepped on the scale after my shower. 199.4lbs.

I've not been under 200 since before the boy was born.

I've been shooting for 175 lbs. Got to 180.7 and then went back to the gym... in 3 days of lifting I went back to 183.5.

Meh... belly is slimmer, I feel pretty good. Strong as fook.

I know it sounds like a lot, but it's one weekend and I enjoy it. Winter is our real outdoor season and the kids spend as much time as possible playing on the lawn or play set, so a winter lawn is a must for me.

I have to scalp the bermuda so the winter rye seed can even reach the soil to germinate, plus it's good to verticut bermuda a few times a year. Also, if I left the dormant bermuda at regular height, it would make the soft rye feel much less soft. Bulk trash pickup is in a week or so so they will take all the bags.

The real question should be "why do I have SUMMER grass?"... ain't nobody having a picnic out there when it's 115 degrees.

Not really. We’re still kinda butthurt that the Rangers eliminated the Astros but we’ll be back to 80 degrees by Saturday.

Good Monday Morning to All! It's 70° on the way to 84° today.

I just got off the phone with SimpliSafe, getting them to monitor my new system instead of the old one, it took a few tries, but they succeeded and all is well.

I also called and resolved a problem with a bang stick seller. They were short three magazines on a shipment with a pistol. When they sent the remaining magazines, they re-sent the entire first order.

Now to resolve a headspace problem with a new rifle. Time to re-install my barrel vice to remove and replace a new barrel to resolve a headspace problem, I just hope it is not the machining of the prefit barrell.

34 but sunny today. I should mow the leaves but I couldn't last a few minutes outside. Still have low grade fever and extremely sensitive to cold. Forecast says high 40's and sunny in a day or two so I think I'll wait. Burned another PTO day for tonight. I called and said if you need me I'll come in but if it'll be fine without me I'll just stay home. They said stay home.

Paying bills n stuff online. Already got my Gridlife paycheck. Big difference in pay going on as a W2 employee instead of a 1099. Worth the stress.
