Gents, Would the following be a decent deal for someone looking to get their feet wet in the cc world:

That's close enough if you want them. Off the top of my head that looks like around $104 worth of gars.

I know I am a bit late in answering this, but I have an idea that a few vendors are gouging a bit on cabs that have been discontinued. I have noticed this as well, from vendors that used to charge the same per stick, wheather you bought 25s or 50s.

Just my opinion on ELs,
Meh. I haven't bought any ELs since 05, though I have been gifted a few. Early on ELs were just slightly higher than regular release, and some of them were great. It seems now, that they are priced for suckers. And they are rarely any better than regular release.
Habanos has been busily cutting anything long and skinny, for the last few years, as well as cutting 50 cabs. I have been busy stocking up on my favorites, and ignoring the overpriced ELs, and most of the regional releases. Though, as an Upmann Ho, I am leaning towards grabbing some of the Robustos.

With the current prices, I don’t think I’ll ever buy another box of Cubans again so gonna hafta smoke the ones I have.

For some reason the vuegaros tapados was the best Cuban I smoked. Gummy sent it to me in the blind taste challenge. I’ve wanted to acquire more but I’ve never ordered Cubans without doing a box split. Think I’m just gonna leave them alone at this point. I’m not paying those type of prices for cigars when there’s so many affordable cigars that are great

Just had a Party Short this morning. To me, there is nothing grown outside of Cuba that has that same taste and I am going to miss that when my stash is gone. I pretty much stopped buying new stock when Cuba announced the major price increases last year. Prolly have enough to last a couple of years iffn' I can slow down my consumption from daily to a few per week.

speaking of Partagas, their Culebras are also very good...and the prices are somewhat reasonable still ($115ish for 3x3)

but the Monte Edmundo that MACS shared was excellent, prolly best Cuban IME...

close seconds was another MACS gift: Punch Punch and one I acquired on my own, Trinidad Fundadore (before the prices of those exploded into the stratosphere)
