Tip of the cap to you, Sir Ram.
Let the record show you could have easily won the 500.
My best to you and the rest of the rams and sheep in your PA pasture.

Thinking some chili will hit the spot. I thawed out some from last week's batch.. Then again, a new Chinese restaurant opened up in town this week. I'd like to try it out. My evaluation of a good Asian restaurant is based on how good their hot and sour soup is. That's my litmus test.

There's a place in Checotah that makes da best Hot & Sour Soup in da world... might be a touch of sriracha and big chunks of chiken... I normally get a large container to go after dinner... everything there is good with generous helpings... Mellow

We have three Chinese restaurants in town all are good. This fourth one back filled a previous Chinese restaurant that ran out of business when COVID shut things down and the previous owners decided to punt. There is another one in the next town over that opened about a year ago. Townies give it good reviews. I'd like to try that one too. Of the two delivery places that lasted through COVID, I prefer Kenny's (odd name for an Asian restaurant) over Yen Yen by a slight margin.

They both have yummy hot and sour soup and nice dishes. Another evaluation for me is the curry dishes. I like curry. If there was a gun to my head, I'd pick Kenny's over Yen Yen.

Sawa is really good but they don't deliver. Nice Asian restaurant with really good curry and other stuff food that I have eaten. They are also known for sushi but I don't like sushi so I can only give reports from a third party. My daughter likes sushi (yuck, sushi... not my daughter) so we go there every now and again.

Suddenly I have a craving for hot and sour soup, scallion pancakes, and a red curry dish.

There's a Chinese place around these parts called "Takee Outee". Seriously. That's the name of the joint...

I don't think I want to try it.

I've been up since 5am. 7 hours of shut-eye and the puppy dog got up to poop. Had some Ryze "coffee" and walked the neighborhood.

Breakfast and some recliner time.

It's an organic mushroom "coffee". My neighbor bought some and didn't like it. She gave me 2 bags of it and I actually like it. I probably won't buy it myself, but I do enjoy a cup.

Good (late) Morning!
Nice finish 8.

81F/49F today.
Cold front passing through! But, a bit of rain as it crosses.
Big temperature drop will definitely make this a tub jacuzzi night!

I turn 62 Tuesday and am lookingforward to a really good dinner out, but can't decide where... too much pressure... LOL.

Me too but I root more for the NYJets to lose so that the Packers get a better 2nd round draft pick.

Plus, it just doesn’t make sense for ARodg to come back this year. The Jets are a chitshow in terms of their OL so let ZWilson take all the hits. Gonz

Made them thirsday night for the neighborhood holiday party at my house. Making them again tonight for myself, my wife and my mother. Then, I will not make them again until next year. Too much work.

3 cups large-shred potatoes
2 eggs
1 medium size onion
3-4 TBS matzoh meal
Salt and pepper to taste

Yup, that's the basic gist of it here too.

The latkes (and brisket) were great, the company, not so much.

Emailed the director about the new job. Told her I was not interested.

I talked with another nurse who interviewed for it. She and I worked together on the pilot program 3 years ago and the manager of my unit was our sponsor. After it got shelved with the new ceo, that nurse and my unit manager both left the hospital partly because of canceling the program that had already been greenlit for us. Last winter they said it was back on and that nurse came back and took a job in my unit so she had a foot in the door if/when it went live. Even she is still on the fence about taking it, and that was the main reason for coming back on staff. They bastardized the position so much. My old manager said the ceo doesn't like the idea and would set it up to fail if it went through. Looks like it's failing before it even started.

Not sure how Thunder Gerbski doesn't like these things. I've never had one, mind you, but potatoes, onions, eggs... what's not to like?

Russ thinks he is a squirrel ? Not bright eyed but up at 4:00 as usual.

Got my new registration and tags in the mail. The process for emissions testing only took about 10 minutes. They don't even stick a probe in the tail pipe anymore. Just check the OBD, malfunction indicator light, vin #.

Money maker for the county.
