Like many in the Upper Midwest, we are experiencing rain and temps in the upper 40s.
At least it isn't raining coal, nor am I working in a coal mine.

Wife and I are going to head down to the valley and get some comfort food. Gyrofry, gyrofry.

Then hopefully a nap and an afternoon cigar.

Eventful fkn day...

Ordered a new laptop from Costco. Was delivered today. Box was light and not large enough to hold a 17.3" screen laptop... because it was a fkn throw blanket. How in the fkn sam hell do you confuse a ****n laptop computer with a gat damn throw blanket??

Call customer service. They send me a return label for the blanket, and a refund for the laptop... and tell me I have to re-order it. Ummmm... yeah, nah. F**K YOU. You just sent me a gat damn blanket for a laptop and you want me to try again? Nope. I'm looking elsewhere now. Eat a d**k sammich. Sam's club, anyone?

Neighborhood Ring app pings... and I looked. 5 miles away is a female dog, skinny as hell, no collar... I message the lady and tell her to keep her there. I go get her, she is friendly but skittish. Jumps in the truck and we're headed home. Take her to the back yard, give her a bath and put antibacterial ointment on a couple small cuts. She seems healthy aside from being skinny. Good teeth, healthy coat, not too stinky.

She ate 3 cups of food and a handful of treats. Peed in my kitchen. Seems to like Tank and he's not minding her, too much. She's on the back patio sleeping. Full bowl of food and water. Will contact the shelter tomorrow to see what can be done.

Ya gotta keep her, she adopted you and Tanks approves. You can't give it to a shelter, they'll kill her. You want that on your conscience?

I hope it comes with more than just the CPU. Coulda given you my Wally World discount number and saved another 10%. It's only good for another week or so until they take me off the payroll.

A while back I ordered a Chromebook from Amazon and they sent me a textbook titled "Essentials of Life-Span Development" (WTF?). They told me to keep the book and resent the Chromebook.

No kill shelters here. Tank does not approve, he merely tolerates for now. She low growled at him once and like a good boy he turned away. I jumped up and corrected her before he did.

She pulls that shiite when I am not around and HE will correct her. If she doesn't take the hint, she's in for a world of pain. He's like Steve Austin... bigger... stronger... faster... ya nome sayin'?

Anywhooo... she peed in my kitchen so she sleeps on the patio. Tank sleeps with pops.

Mental note: If visiting MACS, don't pee in his kitchen unless you want to sleep on the patio.

Mental note #2: In the dead of winter, visit MACS and pee in his kitchen so you get to sleep on his patio in FL rather than deal with 2 ft of snow in MA.

Less than 2 ounces of bourbon 🥃 . One in done.
The next chapter of bourbon enjoyment is here.
So it goes.

Watching Cardinals at the Brewers. Popping over to Phoenix v. Denver during commercials.

I think MACS should keep the dog he saved.

Question: What breed or mix of breeds do you think she is?

Good Sunday Morning to All! It's 66° on the way to 75° later today. Our power went off at about 0430, and back on about 0830, it was rough, I had to light the gas stove burner with a lighter to make some tea. LOL

I came in third at the match yesterday. It was a great shoot, we had a full range and had to run two relays to get every in.

She seems to have gotten the hint. She's not messing with Tank any more.

I'm not sure what breed she is, but she is taller than Tank. If she wasn't malnourished she might be as heavy or heavier. Not sure how old she is, but she appears to have already had a litter of puppies. Her teats are popped out.

That's her^^.

79/62 with 20mph breeze today.

it is going to suck getting out of the heated pool into the wind. Freezes you in like 10 seconds at most.

Gonna watch the 3pm XFL Division Playoff unless I find a good NBA playoff game.

Layabout day.
