Weird day at the shpo.

Boss ended up driving a limousine to check the brakes on it. I road in the back like a discount rapper.

Later, drove a vehicle with large eyelashes over the headlights. Other accessories in the car included posh leopard patterned, fleece over the steering wheel, shifter and matching pillows in the back seat.

All and all, a productive day.

Almost forgot.

Gave a ride to a woman who was once married to the grandfather of the NFL playing brothers of the Watt family. AJ and TJ were quieter. The third Watt brother was a bit of a wild child.

Feisty lady.

Swing those golf clubs can do that.

HHD Ram and youse guys. Rebuilding the old pool vacuum looks like a no. Some parts are back ordered and not sure when they will be available and even iffn they were obtainable the cost is about the same as buying a new unit.

Good Wednesday Morning to All! At last, getting back to the the range this morning. Wife is not going, her surgery went well, but it'll be a few weeks before she gets her arm out of a sling for anything but a bath or PT. Two torn muscles and a tendon. She had PT yesterday and will be back tomorrow.

The last round at the driving range actually seemed to help. First one not so much. Probably has something to do with making a concerted effort to swing easy vs trying to kill the ball. And of course the balls went straighter and longer generally. You'd think I would internalize this practice one of these years

the pitch and batter clock and larger bases have definitely improved the baseball product.

Didn't know about the larger bases? the Mrs. doesn't like the pitch count clock... she gets focused on that and miss the pitch or play... Bwaaa Haaa... she gets side tracked with numbers... Herfing Herfing

larger bases and being able to time the pitch (also a limit of how many times a pitcher can throw over to first base) encourage more stolen bases and base running in general, more exciting and athletic play.
Banning infield shifts open up the natural gaps that has increased base hits.

couple other things...I was already a baseball fan but this makes shorter games with less time watching guys stand around. With less time to let the arm recover between pitches there will be less guys able to whip it in at 100mph repeatedly, just another change adding to more offense.

Across the board I agree, with the exception of stopping the shift. Outlawing the shift admits some hitters are one trick (or one hit) ponies. Learn to be a more balanced hitter. Don't like the idea of penalizing the defense because the hitter can't go opposite field.

I’m ready to check out the new baseball rules. Going to an Astros game next weekend. The daughter went to a Yankees games a few weeks ago and thought it was weird.

I’d use the word to describe a Yankee game as Gross instead of Weird, but am fine with either designation.

I was not pleased but at least she didn’t buy any Yankees gear. She will be in town for the Astros game and it would be acceptable to buy gear. She’s still a SF Giants fan at heart.

Have fun, Shawnski. Catch one.

Thunderstorms and 41 degrees. Thankful it isn’t a few degrees colder. This would be a mess.

Heading up north to spend the day with (watching) Mom. Kind of like watching a kid. Always trying to do to much.

Later, fellas.

Good Thursday Morning to All! It's a clear 66° on the way to 86° today.

Earlier today I tried to start my truck to take my wife to physical therapy, but the battery was dead, well 3.45 volts. F**K! Got her there on time with her Traverse.

I'm charging the battery, nit sure if it early battery failure or something running in the truck and draining the battery. I think even the battery is still under warranty, but we'll see.
