Started this to help lose weight. I have lost 15 lbs since I started. 37 total this year.

Connecticut Broadleaf Natural wrapper, lightest shade. Refused to disclose the binder and fillers, you gotta buy a box to find out. Somebody leaked that it was Russian grown tobacco...that's what I heard...

37 total pounds in the 20 days of 2017? Or 37 in the last calendar year?

I've gone up and down in weight over the last 10 years or so. Heaviest was 218 or so in June 2007. Lightest was 173 in 2010, looked sick, and settled in at 180. I'm about 195 right now and feeling the extra 15.

I really feel comfortable at 180. I just like to eat... and lately fishing has taken a big precedence over the gym.

Went to clear dead mice from camper today. Didn't find many outside of the snap traps. But they've made short work of over a pound of poison blocks. Hopefully they don't do too much damage to the wiring this year.

Got halfway through my scotch and cigar when the wife called. She'd left a few hours earlier to head to her friend's house in Ohio. Said she didn't have heat for a while and now the car was smoking really bad so she decided to stop. Great...

So, had to abort. Hitched up the trailer and drove 2.5 hours to pick up her and the car, kid, and her friend. We're spending the night in Indy now.

Boring morning and afternoon watching the kids while my wife is gone but solid night tonight. Going out with a buddy to dinner, drinks and cigars. Should be an awesome night!

Yup.

Gonna look at it when I get home.

No water in the oil, and once I filled it to drive it up the trailer, it ran normally. So, doubt there's any compression loss.

Maybe will get lucky and it's "just" a water pump.

What up, my pasty white northern brother?

We gettin' lots of rain in SoCal lately. Mountain tops covered in snow... lots of green everywhere... but this is just a harbinger of wild fires to come. This is the cycle. Drought... rain... back to drought and high temps... which causes all the green to turn brown and burst into flames. d'oh!

Shaking the reminents of a week long cold. Felt good enough to torch two cigars last night. Eyes still itchy.

I have my Saturday schedule now. Need to start putting some potential dates in the book for Summer in Sconnie.

Shocking.

The only downside is it slides my #2 team (Palace) into the relegation zone.

Messed with the car. Thought first cracked radiator but then of course which came first, overheating or crack?

Pressure tested fine. Crack must only open when hot. Ran it to operating temperature and system was pressurized, no visible leak.

Revved it up and it kept getting hotter, fans didn't kick on. Thermostat is open, coolant flowing through radiator, but fans not kicking on.

More than one thing going on, and I don't feel like digging any further. Gonna pay someone to make it their problem on Monday.

So the cover I got for my boat was collecting water as it rained... stretched out a bit, so I got a tarp to go over the whole thing and thought I had it tied on well enough so it would not collect water. Bzzzzt. Wrong. d'oh!

Got an e-mail that my boat was collecting water. Not good. I go look, and it looked like the front was a swimming pool, and the trailer jack broke from the extra weight, so it was tilted forward. Both front holds were full of water, too... I cut the covers, and let it drain out the back drains, but since it was tipped forward I had to bail it out with a bucket.

Turned on the pump for the front holds and that water started coming out, turned on the bilge pump and that started pumping, too. Went and bought a new trailer jack (went up to 1500 lbs with double wheels from 1200 single wheel), got a floor jack under the trailer to lift it, and then replaced the jack. As soon as I had it back on a slight backward angle... bilge pump kicked on and water started flowing again.

I'm really understanding that boat ownership is great when you're fishing and sucks ass any other time. Frying pan

Praying nothing else was damaged, but it looks alright. Pray
