The other one that hasn't been mentioned yet (as least I don't think)....

Is Vegas Robaina. Nice chocolate & cream flavors to it, and IMO would be another good'en for you to seek out, or perhaps just go diggin' and you'll find one sittin' there amongst the 30 or so cc's you already gots.

Those look REALLY good!

A short and fat cigar with rather a glamorous presentation, it is very representative of the brand with those rich cuban flavours and creamy chocolate touches not forgetting to mention the slightly honeyed undertones. Delicious, do allow to age.

Those little SCdlH el principes are quite good.
Party shorts as well
Monte 4 or 5 I liked better than the 2

Had these And I know I like them

Well I don't know about the short/fat part.....cuz that doesn't sound right.....I was thinking more along the lines of the Unicos (pyramide)/Famosos (robo) vitolas. The profile on the other hand, that's the VR.

Ok, now that all of the hype is out of the way, I will just chime in to say cc are over-rated due to the forbidden fruit factor.

Don't get me wrong, there are several that I enjoy in my rotation, but they are about twice the price they should be, and I chalk that up to over-bidding by forbidden fruiters!!

Partagas Serie D #4 (Best between 1-3 years after that looses flavor)

John, I agree with most of what you said except this. I smoked a PSD4 from 05 recently and it was one of the best cigars I've smoked.....tons of flavor. Send me all of your old PSD4's! LOL. Great thread Ray!

I have to agree with DB. While I have had some good PSD#4 from '08-'10 they just get better to my tastes. I still have a few from a box in '01 and they are stellar.Drool There are a few marcas that are on the mild-medium end that are probably best within 1-2 years of age but in general Partagas and esp Bolivar get better for a decade or more in my experience.

Recently I had one from 07 and another from 09. To me, the 07 was smoother, but flatter.

I tell you what, I will try another from 07, and if I don't like it, you are welcome to the rest.

Not at all saying I doubt your tastes John. Every batch/year is different for many reasons. I have not missed a year on PSD#4 since '01 and some have been better with less age. Just talking generalities with my experience.

If you find them not to your liking I'm sure someone will be happy to get them.

I'll second wheelie's opinion of the JL's. They are a nice smoke when young. Not too strong and very floral. Not sure if that fits your profile, Ray, but they have a nice sweetness to them and you can actually catch whiffs of baby powder while you smoke them. Hell, the wife has even commented that she likes the smell of the Juanny's.

Nope....these are the Petit Corona. Little suckers but a nice "savor" smoke. You can coax an hour out of them. The one strange thing I've noticed about them is how thirsty they are. I kid you not, I have to really pay attention to the humi they are in because it dries out fast with those in there. (No..it's not the humi..never had this problem with it before.)

As I said, not sure if they fit your profile, with you being a maddie-headed ho, but I like em.

Yea my bad that was a confusing post. I just say minus the PSD4 because I have yet to try one. I did pick up some PSP2's though. I know I need to try a PSD4 it's a cuban staple. Maybe next order I'll be a box of 10.

With my minimal experience with CC's, I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum from being knowledgable about them, but I can still tell when I've smoked an incredible cigar and the PSD4 fit the bill!
