Basically, you have to go all-in.

The rat can kiss my ass.
I get that's the ideal way to get the Disney experience but we're not really a Disney or really even a theme park family. Only reason I'm in Orlando is because my parents give us a free week of lodging. Only reason we do the theme parks is cause we're here. And we only do one day because it's expensive AF and it's not the reason we came. If not for the free stay in a luxury resort, we would not go to Orlando on our own.
It just blows that it costs so much and the ROI is so little. I do it for the kid, for the memories, and just because we're already here. For half the price, I wouldn't bitch so much. It was cool, I'm glad we went, but I'll be upset again when the Discover card bill is due.
