Looking at highs in the low 30's today and tomorrow. Too cold and windy for some of my outdoor work.

That's why mine gets left on the night stand. I usually read when I go to bed, sooo...

Wife gets tired of me asking where my stuff is. I told her at this rate I won't remember where I left her next time we go somewhere... then I'm gonna forget who the hell she is.

Made a few jars of kimchi today. There's a million different recipes and they all claim to be the right one. So I also bought 3 different brands of kimchi from stores. There's 2 brands/flavors I like and I only bought one of them. Their ingredient list was not the recipe I used.

Whole house stinks of fish sauce now. If you haven't smelled fish sauce, the name isn't sufficiently off-putting. It doesn't smell like just dead fish. That smell is there, but it's rich in the aromas of wet feet and sweaty asscrack. I do enjoy it in some dishes, but it smells horrible.

3 big Mason jars are filled in the basement to ferment for a week.

That'd work, 'cept I have this habit of reading something almost any spare minute I have, which leads to the e-reader going mobile

Sob, you could put an air tag on it.

Or, install a wifi calling app on it and then just call it when you can't find it.

I could if it wasn't dwelling in an alternate dimension after having slipped through a black hole, possibly located in the general vicinity of my pantry.

Naw ... I'm thinking a round of golf with the dudes would be better.

It's 44 going to a sunny 64 and a slight draw on the driver. Angel

Top o' the mornin' asshats.

Wife and I got new phones yesterday. Meh... Merry Christmas to us, I guess. Both got the 13.

Not a big phone guy. Talk, text, occasional surf if I am away from my laptop. The ol' SE was dying a slow death.

Good Tuesday Morning! It's 41° on the way to 43° today. Heading to the range, first shots out of the new rifle and stand we picked up in Kentucky yesterday.

12'ish hours of driving was one long day, hats off to truck drivers! Lucky for us, the drive thru the mountains past Asheville was dry and the construction delays were not too bad. On the way to London, KY we passed a six mile backup due to paving so after picking up the rifle we went got some dinner hoping it was quitting time, luckily it was cleared when we started back. Thankful for a safe trip, averaged just under 30 MPG too.

The 13 has a phenomenal camera, with a great zoomlense, not just a digital zoom. Battery life has been great too.

Good morning, folks.

Sitting at my buddy's cardiology office for a 60 year baseline stress chest and to rule out whether my chest pain is something other than rib fractures. Both of my parents had heart and problems attacks around this age so I want to see were I stand ahead of time. Should go well- I hope. fog

I wanted something just a little bigger. Paid cash for the phones at the Apple online store... scroll to the bottom where they have government accounts... click on military or veteran... use the ID.me thing-a-ma-bobber... 10% discount. Picked 'em up in the local store, unlocked, ain't locked into no account.

It's pretty damn fun to be cruising around at 20+ mph without pedaling. Get funny looks sometimes. Convenient for picking up stuff from nearby stores... and for checking the mail.

Community has those "cluster mailboxes" at the clubhouse/pool area. It's almost a mile from the house, so either I walk to get it, get it in the mornings the next day while walking Tank, grab it as I drive by if I am out and about... or more often I just hop on the bike and go get it.

Glad I don't really have to worry about that in PHX.

Did you have to use the compressor or do you have a low point you can drain it from?

Mostly just purge the back flow preventer which is above ground. It has an insulated cover also.

Rebounding. Jacked up on meds and roids. The feeling better is artificial, but I'll take it. Avoided the hospital, so its a win.

I have read stories about the difficulties of having to fully purge the lines.. Glad it was only the backflow preventer.
