Grilling some chicken. Jack Miller barbecue sauce with some crushed pineapple added. Still 99 degrees outside.

NEVER purge your obsolete electronics cable storage spot. If you do, there's 100% chance something will come up and you'll need that vhf/uhf switch or the serial port cable from 1992.

No packet drawer, they typically get thrown in the trash, USB cables go into plastic storage boxes with spare power supplies. Next is the lower garage/shop, Goodwill is going to get a heap.

OTOH, you're probably reviving an obsolete device. I used to have boxes and boxes of cables and computer parts. The only people I was helping were people hanging on to obsolete equipment brought with problems, mostly due to age and incompatibility. I filled up the bed of my pickup with old computer equipment to the dump. I still have a milk crate filled with zip cords, network cables, and surge suppressors. I try to keep devices with unique power supplies/cables bagged so they stay together.

Not a bad idea. Hookers in da pool!

After my morning exercise I took the '65 Corvette out for a little romp and some pretty girls waved. Should be able to round up a few.Angel

Not into hookers or blow. How about just a relaxing grill out, some cigars and shoot the $hit?

How many do you think you can fit in the ‘Vette? Or just pick them up one at a time? Think

And where you gonna store them after they knock out from the chloroform? Or is that a question better directed at the owner of a van down by the river? Gonz

In Wisconsin, if you want to pick up four women, you’ll need a dump truck.

Covered parking. Seems a little indulgent, right? It should be mandatory in AZ.

Yesterday was the first time the heat really got to me this year. We decided to takes the kids to the kids musuem, then out for tacos afterwards downtown. All the parking was in the sun for everything. The car was hot (evenwith the windows cracked a touch), the AC takes a while to actually cool the car down when the engine is in the sun, and I was about at my breaking point. I don't usually get that way, but man I was done with the heat by the time we got home.

I told my wife that come August each year, if there isn't abundant covered parking somewhere, we aren't going... She agreed.

Good Tuesday Morning to All! It's 73° on the way to 93° today, 89% humidity after a storm blew though last night.

The entrance to our neighborhood was blocked for a few hours last night. The storm blew over a tree and it took down a power line, lucky for us, not our power. A car accident took out the power in Augusta about the same time. it was strange to see no lights from Augusta, GA let night.

Woke up to the sound of thunder
How far off I sat and wondered...

A nice lightning show on my before dawn walk and a brief rain after I returned. I love the smell of wet creosote on the breeze.

Finally tried Chick-fil-A yesterday (…I live a sheltered life Laugh …).

Not bad. Might be the best of the chicken sandwiches between Chick, Popeye’s and KFC but gonna get a Popeye’s one again to compare.

So EASY to make at home!

Brine for 12 hours in Dill pickle juice...deep fry in Pecan Oil after dredging 3 times through egg wash and flour.

Deep fry the pickles for a treat. Thinking about making a pound...make 3. They disappear so damned fast, friends can't keep their hands off em long enough for any to cool!!!!

Hmmm, sounds like something I could do. Mebbe fry up some B/L, S/L thighs too.

Thanks! Beer

NP...its been a favorite to friends that gets made quite often.

I get the cheapest and largest dill pickles (usually slices but spears work too) mainly for the juice. I've only done boneless skinless breasts cubed into 2" chunks. The pickles got dredged as an afterthought...but they magically disappear too!

PS: the Chik-Fil-A sauces you can buy at the stores...gamechanger! Especially the Sweet & Spicy Sriracha sauce!

PSS: Tried Peanut Oil too...the burn point of both is pretty quick so you have to watch temperatures while deep frying. Once it starts burning it affects the taste.

Mebbe the less-than-stellar comment was 'cause I took the sandwich home to eat. By then of course, it was warm, not hot. SIL said the sandwich is w-a-y better when eaten right then and there. Gonna hafta do that next time.

I had a Sunjoy drink and fo' sure gonna get a milkshake next time. Gotta decide between Peach or Cookies & Cream - or heck, just get both! RollEyes
