knowing better, I still started sipping right away, then sipped about every 4 or 5 minutes after that until just cooler than room temp. Way beefier than roses. Some good fruit, some tannins but maybe just a bit out of balance...
I dunno, Allen, I liked it. Had it along side a hodgepodge dinner...Moroccan Spiced chickpea soup (homemade), marinated chicken breast, steamed zuke and broccoli, jarred spicy pickled vegetables, and a few stuffed grape leaves (meatless).
So Spey, tell me what I really had cuz it tasted a lot like some heavier weight pinot noirs I have had lately as it approached room temp.
