Adroomi,
I have no idea what post #41 is about. But I read the whole thread. And the first of the ugliest words on it came from you.
Rug and Ruggysgirl are a family, along with their children. Perhaps, in your world, people do believe that you can't be friends and silly with people of the opposite sex, but most of the people I know, seem to have no trouble with it.
If Ruggysgirl doesn't mind her hubby posting a pic of her, then you and I have no say. You go on to put words/thoughts that you think other people might be saying, but you don't know and shouldn't assume. My guess is they are very secure in their marriage, enough not to worry about silly jokes and a risque picture. I see worse walking in the mall anyday.
So, keep her alive? I assume you had a great tragedy in your life. For that, I am so deeply sorry. It must have been horrible for you and I am glad you were able to at least go on and live a life afterwards.
That said, I still don't feel you should feel it "allowable" in your own heart to try and nick everyone's jugular that you don't like or that doesn't like you.
I am sure Rug's comment hurt you. Don't you think your comments before that hurt also? When you get into a ######## match with someone (I HATE that word), one should never bring anyone's else's family into it.
It just starts something that hurts everyone and doesn't end up releasing any tension, just builds it up worse.
As for the rest of the thread. I am glad you say those nice things about women. Then I read things like your "cigar" review and some of the other things you write and wonder "who is THAT person"? If you really respect them, you must also do it behind their backs and everyday, to all women. Not just to the ones you wish to have a relationship.
Yes, I was new and I had NO knowledge of anyone here. But, what made me start disliking you, was the way you talked about women. As if they were chattle, sluts, babes just dying for your body. It was demeaning and worse, it really was saddening to me.
You don't like someone? Call them an idiot, fat, balding, old, or whatever basic adjective. But when you start getting TOO personal, and you know what I mean, then it's a step too far and it's leaves a mark. Then it debases from there.
Well, if anyone EVER calls you long-winded Adroomi, send them to this post. I have never been good at the "Reader's Digest condensed version" of writing.
If you read the whole post, thank you. It is not meant to "slam" you, just trying to give my point of view.
Again, I am SO sorry for whatever the tragedy was back then that befell you. I hope your heart has healed and you have many good memories of better and earlier times.
PAS,
Suzi
