Glad you found it interesting, I did. Maritime law sounds like a world onto itself.

Accidents, cargo loss and salvage rights get complicated. e.g. Spain claiming treasure that Odyssey Marine Exploration found at wreck Spain claimed was a Spanish ship the Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes.
