They came out this morning, pulled the pump. Date code 1997. Well is 80ft deep. New pump in, treated the well with chlorine and muriatic acid, running the pump for 2 hours into the ditch to purge sediment and chemicals. Also adjusted pressure on my switch and in my pressure tank. I've been fine with my 30/50 psi switching but he cranked it up to 45/65. I'll probably like that more.

Good thing I watched them and asked questions. I'll do the next one myself if when it fails again. Will need a 2nd man for removal and aligning for install but other than a t bar to thread into the cap thing that seats into the pipe to the house, nothing special was needed. Hopefully this one lasts 25 years too.
