LV must 💗 Buttplug Anyway, when it comes to that RACIST ROAD in Buffalo, the Kensington Expressway was built to connect downtown Buffalo to Buffalo International Airport in the suburb of Cheektowaga. I know...I know, the blowhards in the Demo-Grifter Gang says that it was built to separate the White Racists of the North from the Black minorities of the South, something like that and those feckless proles could not figure out how to get from one side to the other for "jobs, health care, groceries and other essentials", even though there are bridges over the Expressway along the way. Hence, this giant boondoggle is suppose to fix all that and bring about prosperity, rainbows and unicorns. No mention though of how Progressivism destroyed minority neighbourhoods and shipped the occupants off to ugly Soviet Style Projects. During visit to Buffalo, Buttigieg meets with Higgins, Hochul, Schumer, Gillibrand & Brown to highlight $55M Reconnecting Communities grant
Fri, Mar 17th 2023 Federal funding supports infrastructure project reconnecting Buffalo’s Humboldt Parkway neighborhood Quote:U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg joined Congressman Brian Higgins, Gov. Kathy Hochul, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown, the Restore Our Community Coalition (ROCC), as well as other community members and local leaders at the Buffalo Museum of Science to celebrate the $55 million Reconnecting Communities Program grant to Buffalo. The project was funded by the “Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”
"Transportation should connect, not divide, people and communities,” Buttigieg said. “We are proud to announce the first grantees of our Reconnecting Communities Program, which will unite neighborhoods, ensure the future is better than the past, and provide Americans with better access to jobs, health care, groceries and other essentials.”
Higgins said, “Frederick Law Olmsted believed in the healing and restorative power of urban green spaces. His vision came to life through a historic park system that connected Buffalo’s neighborhoods through parkways and landscaped circles. But it was torn apart with the construction of the Kensington Expressway, which destroyed Humboldt Parkway and disconnected surrounding neighborhoods. We are grateful to Secretary Buttigieg and President Biden for recognizing this tremendous opportunity to use the ‘Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’ to help heal our community.”
