So for mine all I use is a bunch of 65 boveda packs. I recharge them with distilled water when they are dried out.

In an electric temp controlled humidor such as a schmecke 400 can you use only boveda 69% packs and no distilled water? Will it burn up whatever regulated humidity if no distilled water is present?
Can you use both?
I’m wondering because that lower drawer is huge and could be used for storing an additional amount of cigars if I didn’t have to fill with water.
Thanks this is my first electric humidor.
May want to move this post, to Cigars & Related.
As many AVOID THE POLITICS FORUM.

I would go with an internal combustion humidor. There are not enough charging stations for the electric ones yet.

I thought I posted in cigars, just saw it was in politics, looking now how to move it.
