A faucet wrench and metal cutting reciprocating saw blades did the trick.

A few months ago I replaced the kitchen faucet because I didn't like the other one. I like those that are kinda goose neck thingies with a pull down sprayer. I don't remember what brand I bought but it's something like this.

http://tinyurl.com/2p97cnu2

After removing the previous faucet and sprayer (pain in the ass getting at the nuts), the only tools I needed to install the new one was my hands and a small adjustable wrench to tighten down the nuts for the hot and cold water lines. Four months later and I have no complaints.

Gray day here in north central MA weather wise. Cloudy with rain and drizzle throughout the day. Low 40's and high 30's. On the menu is doing some laundry, some cooking and likely mix in a nap along the way.

So I listened to it and it was in Chinese. (My phone’s area code is in Silicon Valley and is an area that is 1/3 Asian so I get spam calls at all hours in foreign languages.)

Good Saturday Afternoon to All! Spent last night in the ER with my wife, a lower GI bleed. Doctors are keeping her in for observation of her, especially her hemoglobin levels (Good so far.), until tomorrow. Got three hours sleep, coffee and food, headed back this evening.

Rage Warning On:

Wife is type II diabetic and uses Trulicity. She was prescribed Ozempic, but it was in such short supply her Doc changed her to Truliciy. Apparently lazy FAT Fucks are now demanding Trulicity because other FAT Fucks caused shortages of Ozempic. Meanwhile people that need the drug for diabetes are getting told they are sold out.

Oh, and the Trulicity would cost us $400 on our prescription supplement, will cost three time more for the first dose in 2024. Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall

I'm a lazy FAT Fuck too, but I know better than to think drugs are a good way to lose weight. Hell crack is a cheaper and probably more effective alternative for losing weight.

Ram n Gene, there's several chitty doctors I work with who advertise having those drugs in stock in office and one of them was complaining that he couldn't buy enough to resell because "other doctors are overprescribing it" I told him yeah, like you... you have a sign in front of your office saying "We have Ozempic for weight loss". He said no, he's one of the pioneers of using it for weight loss so he should get priority... Scummy fvck.

Its partially Fatties. Oprah and her Swifty-like following are seeing her winning the 1st of her 317th battles with fatness. So there is a chunk of people rushing to the front of the line.

The other group is worse.

My wife was waiting for a RX at the pharmacy. The waiting area within earshot of others getting their scripts. Two of the three scripts picked up were for Ozempic. Both of the women picking them up were well dressed, 30-40 year old women and neither of them were remotely heavy.

It's the new vanity drug for rich white women who want results now and don't want to put in the work (or spend the time and money on expensive workout outfits and makeup before they go to the gym).

She (my wife) asked the pharmacist if Ozempic was this popular or is she seeing an anomoly.

Pharmacist said it was easily the most popular drug, with a high percent of girls & women of all shapes and sizes. Many of them under 25, not covered by insurance and just putting them on their credit cards.

Mindblowing.

Zero crime. If a grocery cart rolled into a parked car there would be three cop cars and a chopper.

The family went out to dinner tonight at a little Italian place I love. Usually, eating out with a 6 and 4 1/2 year old is pretty miserable and non- relaxing, but this time the 6 year old was a total treat and the 4 year old was happy to eat fresh rosemary bread and cheese. The 6 year old was totally into being a grown up with her napkin in her lap, tried new and different foods like octopus, and ate (and loved) other stuff instead of her usual complaining. The food was amazing, the kids were amazing, the service was amazing. Such a rare treat, I am still in awe. That may have been the first relaxing and enjoyable meal out with the kids. Hallelujah.

My buddy and I went fishing yesterday. Found a sweet little spot near Elmer’s Island accessible by car. Fished off the bank and caught reds, specks and sheepsheads. Afterwards found a nice little hole in the wall seafood restaurant in Grand Isle. Had a most excellent seafood platter with fried oysters, shrimp, catfish, soft shell crab and stuffed crab. Opted for the homemade onion rings instead of the fries. Had a few Silver Bullets served in Mason Jars.

Shawn we need to make plans to go one of these days. I’ve got a dear old girlfriend who has a few Airbnb’s down here. She graciously put us up for the night. All she asked is that we leave $40 for the cleaning lady.

I got Carolina at Jax. Bore-fest. Bryce Young is too small to be an NFL QB. How CJ Beathard is still in the NFL... I dunno. He ain't good.

Only game I get early because it's a home game.
