Good Sunday Afternoon to All! It's a sunny 80° on the way to 86° today.

Thank you all very much for the well wishes for my wife. She is back on an even keel, the antibiotics are working very well.

Pranced was the gay reindeer. When you were eating him, hope you had a condom on.

the sausage links looked and tasted like pork.

There was a platter of suspicious looking meat, labeled "shaved (thinly sliced) beef"...coulda been reindeer...possibly even Santa, given the fat content...

Finishing up three days as a single parent with the girls while the wife was out of town for work. No downtime at all for me, but I really loved the one on one time with both girls. My youngest is an awesome sidekick. Looking forward to a nice glass of Rye when the wife gets back, though.

Chipped an already repaired/built up front tooth on a can of soda. Dentist repared it this morning in less than 10 minutes. Was expecting to pay $250-350, but he didn't charge me. Winning!

Hope to get to the tile store today to look at tile for re-doing our shower. Can't wait to get the work started.

Got to take my mom to the airport this afternoon.

Nothing else planned for today... Herfing

Awesome, I got to do the same when my wife was away on business, and our boys were little. It really made me appreciate my Mother raising my sister and me by herself.

Greetings from Talkeetna a little town on the edge of Denali. we have an Airbnb cabin in the woods just out of town. We are waiting to see what the weather is like and hoping to get a small plane flight over Denali. Weather is not looking good for that at the moment so we are on standby.

Fingers crossed for good weather.

We stayed in the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge and got to fly over Denali, land on a glacier, and return. It was worth every penny.

Gene, we just had lunch at that lodge. No luck with the weather today and can’t even see the mountains today due to overcast and drizzle.

Had a great hike through the woods this morning carrying bear spray but no frizz.

I do hope the weather clears and you can make the flight.

Aside from the views, the turboprop conversion planes have a ton of horsepower. I got to fly back in the copilot seat, hands off of course. I asked if it had "enough" horsepower he replied, "If I showed you the other passengers would be very upset."

I understand that the 80's dope I was smoking (including hash) isn't comparable to the potent engineered dope their smoking today... I quit 3 weeks before I went to boot camp. Never smoked again, while it mattered.

Smoked Cigarettes for 7+ years. Woke up one morning and could hardly breathe. Threw my pack away and never smoked cigarettes again.

Moral of the story: Either you're a weak fkn **** that will make excuses... or you're a fkn man with willpower and you'll quit.

Ball's in your court.

Boy's been wanting to go back to the Illinois railroad museum I told him at the beginning of the summer we'd fit it in. School started and we haven't gone so we went yesterday. That place is so neat.

It's late but welcome back to Monday fellas.

Someday it will. Can remember as a kid how important December 7th was. Think if you asked 100 high school seniors the significance of 12/7 is, they'd probably say.... St. Nick's Day?

I am thnkful I will be blowing in the wind before that happens regarding 9/11.

Don't be so sure. The children the public education system is churning out may surprise you with their ignorance.

Mornin' dudes. Rained here yesterday, too. I've already walked the puppy dog and I need to cut the grass and make a Costco run, but I gotta wait for the damn grass to dry.

Looks like Aaron Rodgers' season is over after 4 plays. That achilles snapped. You could see it on the replay.
