Up and atom. After the walk gotta remove the old perfectly functioning patio ceiling fan and install the new one.

Anybody else having very slow response times on this site? I'm thinking their gerbil is getting old.

32 wc 22.

Rain, then freezing rain, followed by snow. Less than ideal driving conditions, however, it could always be worse.

Off to the shpo.

Good Morning Gents and Lady's if their are any?

53 and Rainy and Cloudy here... But it's going to be a bright bright Sunshiny Day!!!

after my Open Meetings Act. 38 minute Rebuttal to the City Council and towns folks on the Zoning Boards recommendations to my denial on rezoning our property to General Commercial for Storage Units.. a 2 year process that not one Alderman now Officials in the Capacity for this City Government bothered to assist my wife and I with? I dropped an eye opening decades old practices on how NOT to DO Government!! Thats was on a Monday, Tuesday Morning one of the Alderman reached out to me to set up a meeting with me over our property issues for later in the afternoon he'd like to meet and discuss? I replied back that I am tied up for the next couple of days. On Wednesday the Mayor come to me at the local watering hole and asked me for a minute of my time? So I refreshed my Coozie and stepped over by the pool table and he began to tell me how I've got them by the Ass, he did not realize with the evidence I presented at my meeting that these matters have been going on for Years! So as of right now we are in negotiations to allowing my rezoning to proceed as I requested and they will begin Transparent Government.. We Shal See!!!Herfing

Another day of rain.

Shot a squirrel and it ran off. It might've made it to a tree except it drowned.

Yes, I am the Contractor, I have a man coming to give me a set of blueprints from one of his storage units that houses
28, 10' X 20' Units with 6. 5' X 10' units on the end. I have another buddy who works for All American Ready Mix and his boss is going to sell me the concrete for $138.00 a yard as their regular going rate is $165.00 a yard. for the foundations pads... Financing is my woodshop revenue and whatever these units bring in as We build them from West to East to completion. that way customers can rent the units built and we can continue adding more as the finances from said pay for the materials as we go. I have a childhood friend who's talents are Concrete finishing and Ive reached out to him to come visit and give us an estimate for the ground work!

I've had my ducks in a row for awhile now! and as I explained in our meeting to this city I am not putting the cart before the Horse here fella's.... first rezone, then Survey our property, then shoot grade and get the setbacks correct and so on and so forth!!!

I went through Local 16 Union Carpenters Apprenticeship school for 4 years, became a Journeyman and took a withdraw after 11 years in the Unions to become a Federal Employee. (Air Technition) for 15 years for the 183rd Fighter Wing as a Weapons Sytem Specialist and Guardsman (Military) 18.7 years. Disabled Veteran Status from there... Now I'm going to put my training to work and Build My Wife our Retirement Nest egg!!! All Hands on Deck!!!Herfing

6" to 8" of snow overnight tonight and until about 7 pm tomorrow. Schools are already canceled for tomorrow.

8track's weather that he's battling will hit here Thurs and Fri but expected to be mostly rain with temps between mid 30's and low 40's.

Another phone interview tomorrow morning with Avery-Dennison for Engineer role. My IT search for a good IT job isn't going as well as I expected. Opportunities for a new IT grad just aren't there in my area and the salary for a rookie is (understandably) pretty low.

Still sending out resumes for both the engineer and IT positions... Had a few offers. One I almost signed onto but they kept changing the scope of the position (after further review, this position is not going to work for me). Other one, was contingent on a contract.... contract issues ended up to make it a no-go.

I'll land something will land when it's a right fit.

Nearby state college has a nice position open for IT that I think I'd fit. I applied but they won't review resumes until the deadline (March sometime). Being a state job, they have to post the position to the public for a certain amount of time before they close the application process. Like most state or government jobs, they probably already have someone picked to fill the role. Someone internal or a brother, cousin, friend, etc.

Had some hits recently from some recruiters to fill a couple QC engineer roles. I'll play those out too. Had a phone interview on one of them on Friday last week and they want to do a face to face, but haven't heard back. I'm keeping my options open and want to pick something that is stable, challenging, and where I can make a difference. Something that I won't regret later on.

I'm not in a dire need for a "real job" but the Walmart gig served has it's propose - I've pretty much milked them as much as I can. I'm all done there other than coasting along. Since I finished school with the new degree, I'm not using my brain much or challenged much. School required some brain cells and it took some work. I want to get back to using my brain (or what's left of it).

Good Mornin Ya'll 43 with a high of 54 today still cloudy...

as far as What's Up in this quaint lil town of Mayberry... Barney's still trying to find the one bullet he put in his shirt pocket!!

Silence is good they say, they also say No news is good news? through the FOIA Act I recieved 1500 documents from the city in April-June of last year. I requested these documents after the city tried to rezone my property and 16 other propperty owners and did not send a letter out from the clerk about this rezone of said property's I was one of those not afforded my rights. I was in Negotiations with a Prominent Lawyer from a local town who came into our city looking for vacant lots. My Land was Primes 380' frontage with 118' depth. this lawyer in 2018 came to me. shortly after and during our talks. his wife fell and broke her hip. then in 2019 this city started proceedings to remove the RM (Multi Family Housing) from the said property owners where most these vacant lots to rezone to RS-1 (single family housing) to IMO keep this Lawyer out of their city. COVID-19 Hit this nation and put everyone in Lockdown. the city and zoning commissioner put a notice in the paper for two weeks. step 11.0 of the zoning Ordenes. Section 11.5 states that the city clerk will mail out notices to all property owners effected with said zoning changes. THIS GENTLEMEN did not happen.

Thus with Case Study I proceeded on my own and found Numerous infractions from 1992 to current that Numerious board members and zoning agents here had violated.

During my Rebuttal in Open Meetings Act. 38 minute video recoding of said meeting took place as I read my rebuttal and showed these infractions "For The Record" I gave them dates in chronological order. I said you people have allot of cleaning up to do to bring Transparency to these Tax Paying Citizens or Mayberry.

This is how they are now negotiating and giving my wife and I our rezone. I am not comfortable at this moment and Chit is almost above my GED education and Paygrade!

But I Took an Oath to Protect Our Constitution from both Foriegn and Domestic!!!

I handed these men their ass and they now are doing case study of their own to catch up and promise to clear this up and move forward with Transpaernt Government?

Been working in the yard all day, prepping my lawn with all types of crapola necessary for St Augustine grass. Weed n feed, pre-emergent, lime pellets and bug killer pellets. My walk behind spreader got a damn workout today... and since my ass was pushing it, so did I.

Had more than I needed so did some of my neighbors yard, too. Spread some on each side... that way their lawns don't eff up mine. fog

Also stopped by "Resellers Reef", a local tackle shop. Got myself a nice inshore setup for the sheepshead, redfish, trout and flounder.

Daiwa BG3000 with Daiwa 7' spinning rod. That'll do it. Spooled with 20# braid it ran me just under $200 out the door.
