Man... you have got to appreciate awesome neighbors.

I had one of my pop up sprinklers malfunctioning due to tree roots crowding it. So I replaced another sprinkler head with a full circle to cover the area, and was just going to pull it and cap it. Well, the roots had it really jammed in there. My neighbor, Adrian, has a landscaping business. He sees me struggling with it, brings over some tools of his trade, and has it done in 5 minutes.

When I ask what I owe him, he says, "That's what neighbors do, man". God bless him! Applause

Cancelled return trip to SF. Looks like we are going to be playing this day by day.

Had to cancel the woman's birthday trip to Portugal next weekend... I feel bad for her having to have her birthday screwed up by this. I'm probably going to let her adopt another dog to make up for it.

Doesn't smoke or drink, but I bet he'd like a plate of BBQ next time I fire up the smoker.

Hey Drafter did you use stone dust under that first course ? I worked for a buddy of mine who did retaining walls and that first course being even and solid is the key to a good wall. I actually enjoyed the work, tho moving and setting those 80-100 lb. stones will get to you by the end of the day.

pullover is the new reach around.

hey monkey, you seem well versed in all things Perdomo. I ran down to the corner store cuz they have a small display humi and I felt like a smoke tonight. I bought one of the few selections they stock that I'd heard of...a Perdomo 10th Anny Champagne with a "p" between "reserva" and "champagne". Looks like maybe 6 x 54 anyway...what am I in for tonight?

Frank, I'd tell you that it depends on how you like relatively mild smokes ... it's a good, well constructed cigar that I don't smoke a lot of simply because it's a bit more on the mild side than I generally prefer, but when I'm in a mild mood, it's a pretty good smoke IMO ... I rather like that size, too ...

Yep, it certainly was ... you ever hear from him? ... I've called him once in a while, he's always cordial and says, hey we'll have to stay in touch more, but then .... nada

#21 What was their hygro reading? My corner store usually has them drowning at 80.

I would have walked over 70, but it was 70 and I have it sitting out for a few hours now. Has a nice squeeze to it.
Won't light it if no draw after the cut.

Steve, thanks. I'm actually looking for something on the milder side tonight. Hope it has some nice flavors.

Last Perdomo I smoked was probably 4 years ago, a few Lot 23's, maduro I think, thought they were ok and not a bad value. I did smoke a bunch all over their offerings like maybe a decade ago, perhaps longer? along with CAO Anny's, Cuesta Reys, stuff like that. But drifted away, no real reason, just moved on.

I'll preface this with stating I'm not a fan of the Champagne or the Champagne Sungrown. Both are way too mild for my palate. I have suggested them to folks that tend to lean toward the mild side and noobs. You'll get what you typically do with Perdomo - well constructed, good draw. The flavor is the wild card. I do enjoy the Champagne Noir, though.

From what you said, my guess is it will at least be satisfactory tonight and maybe very good!

I'm really neither, but I have an intense dislike of Barca. And I like to see Ronaldo donwell. So, I guess for the time being, I'm a Madrid guy. I just don't care in games that aren't El Classico.

sounds fine. probably will be too mild for me to revisit, but I'm not looking for aggravation and it does look very well made, hoping to have a quiet celebration of a Celtics win which should happen very soon.

Thanks.

Sitting outside in the rain enjoying a partagas black (not a lot of selection at the tobacco shop) and JW black diluted with raindrops. I'm wet and my phone keeps getting hit by water, but may as well enjoy the respite.
