Thanks, Bur and numi, for carrying this flag. I've been in bed with the flu the past couple of days...didn't want to infect the PC, since my wife needs it too.

took me out a week, ad that's with antibiotics as an extra to keep me from getting a secondary infection, and I had the flu shot a few months ago...........woulda been real ugly if I had not taken that shot, my round didn't seem to be as bad as some others around here.

I think the flu shot I took a few months ago helped. Sucks getting old, seem to get sick more often now.

Can I nominate "RTFI" for Read the F Instructions? It would save lots of time on the "N00b PIB" thread. We FUBAR that thing up weekly, by, err, not RTFI.

342. Author: delta1Date: Wed, 2/13/2013, 11:55PM EST
Wife and kids are planning trips without grumpy...Son and his wife just got back from week in Orlando, FL and will be going to Temecula this week-end for a wine tasting tour. Daughter and her fiance are going to Hawaii in April. Wife going to visit some old friends in Seattle in March. Oh well...I can smoke and drink and scratch in peace.

We'll all be going to the American Le Mans races in Monterrey at Laguna Seca in May.
343. Author: NumismaniacDate: Thu, 2/14/2013, 12:06AM EST
whew, sounds busy, you should go with your son and DIL, I love Temecula, sooooo many wineries, from one driveway to the next,
LOL for about 10 or 20 miles it seems, I never made it past 6 or 7 on a Sunday afternoon with some co-workers, hehe, great place, some great times
344. Author: delta1Date: Thu, 2/14/2013, 5:00AM EST
Yes, Temecula has grown quite a bit in a short time. I would've gone with them, but I've got an appt. on Monday to got to get my blood tests done. Can't have too much pickle juice in the system for that.
345. Author: NumismaniacDate: Thu, 2/14/2013, 12:27PM EST
HEHE, understood, and I would as well, even though I don't drink often now, or then for that matter, my wife still tells about the day I went, I called her at around 7 or 8 her time, and I was snickering drunk, something she rarely has seen. We started off in Rancho Cucamonga on a Sunday/travel day, went up to Galleano winery, then down to Temecula, all afternoon. Needless to say after 5-6 tastings we were "full of it" and I lost track, LOL.

I've been wanting to bring my wife over for a trip, just to travel up from San Diego, hitting Cabrillo, then driving north and spend about a week working our way through. That happens, you're gonna be on the list, as well as a few others!
346. Author: delta1Date: Thu, 2/14/2013, 4:28PM EST
Looking forward to the day, numi!!! Hope it's sooner than later, we're not spring chickens, you know.
347. Author: NumismaniacDate: Thu, 2/14/2013, 10:26PM EST
you are correct, I have a 5 year plan, better get it all done in 5 years, I may not be able after that, LOL, Here's to hoping I can make that!
