Ok, I will chime in, take it for what it is worth. True, Rich Gannon had a great season. As mentioned in a prior posting, it is interesting to see these "average" players thrive in a different system, i.e. Gannon, Preist Holmes, Steve Young, Kurt Warner, Mark Brunnell. I don't think Steve Young frightened anyone while starting for the Tampa Bay Bucs, likewise with Gannon running the Minnesota offense. Nevertheless, Rich Gannon did put up numbers worthy of winning the MVP and is deserving of the award.
LOL, Brett Favre should get some kind of award for being one of only 8 Packers to play in every game this season. It may be a defeatist attitude, but considering the injury situation, I am just happy the Pack made it this far.
