Not 100% sure yet. Have not decided the 2 I wanna smoke out of a Padron 1964 Anniversary series, Partagas 150, or an Ashton VSG Cabinet series. Any help??

I know there will be a Padron Annie, probably the Exclusivo or the Imperial maduro. After that, it's open to the moment.

You got that right jazzman. Typical Thanksgiving, wet, cold and very windy. That's why I gave up trying to smoke a Turkey. I let someone else fry it for me and I stay inside and smoke cigars in my ventilated room.

I think I might have a Fuente 8-5-8 I have aged for two years now. A good smoked that only gets better with time. I also have a Monte Cristo #2 I have been waiting on for seven years. Seven years at 70/70 that must be a lucky number.

Rick, you are truly a populist and I admire you for it. Did you ever try the Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970?

Rick I fly to europe tomorrow and I hope to remember to bring a couple mozart and virgina cigars so you can add them to your nightmare collection! Amen

I will smoke a AF 858 and a MC Double Corona both are aged over a year and if time allows a Onyx.

An Ashton VSG Sorceror that has been waiting patiently for 9 months in my humidor. Then for a late afternoon smoke an A Fuente Don Carlos No 4. Never had a Don Carlos before, so this will be something new.

Jazzman...Texas.....cold....LOL.

20 Degrees here in Wisconsin, but I may have CAO Brazila Samba in my sun/smoking room. Gotta crack the window and turn on the space heater. Those "California Dreamin" pics are looking better and better, lol. Happy Thanksgiving all.

Texas does get cold. ~28 degrees in the DFW area last night. As for smoking, maybe a turkey or ham.

Won't really know until I crack open the humi tomorrow -- maybe I'll burn a Don Carlos or one of my few Cubans.

And for tonight's IU hoops game, I'm thinking Ashton VSG Beli or my go-to HdM Rothschild.

Calavera, I'm following your lead. For me, those two are awfully hard to beat. And I don't think we'll have any weather issues here in San Diego. It might drop into the sixties, but we can tough that out.

I'll probably light up a CAO black churchill while I'm outside watching the ham in the smoker. After dinner I think I'll retreat to my smoking room with my son and break out some Fuente cuban belicosos and CAO brasilias.

I have much to be thankful for. My son arrived last friday to spend a week with us. He's been living in Texas for a couple of years and the only time I see him is at Thanksgiving. My wife and daughter spent two weeks in Texas last summer visiting with him but work kept me from joining them.

There's a certain amount of comfort in having your kids around you during the holidays. When we're all together everyhting seems better. The food, the wine, the cigars, everything is enjoyed so much more because we're together.

In this holiday season I wish all of you and your families the very best.

Rleaverton: 60's would be nice. Here we are in the 20's, but at least there is no snow. Just thinking about that VSG is making me want to have a smoke right now.

What a great list of smokes. I would smoke any on the above list. I have chosen CAO Brazilia to start the show. Then later in the evening one of my cubans - I believe that it will be a Romeo and Juliet number 3 or the Bolivar.

I too have many things to be thankful for especially the opportunity to enjoy a "great cigar"!

Regards to All,

Amen penzt8. I hope you and your family have a wonderfule Thanksgiving. That goes for everyone on this board. I enjoy reading and laughing at/with everyone's posts.

One more thing penzt8. I know things may not have worked out with getting off work or financially to make that trip to Texas, but if the opportunity arises again, plese make it work. Nothing is more important then being with family, ever. Not even cigars (gasp!). Having a father that is an over-the-road truck driver, I never get to see him. Sometimes I wanna get mad and hold a grudge, but then I realize that is more time I am "away" from him. Happy Thanksgiving to all, and happy smoking!

I have been saving a RyJ Cuban for Thanksgivin but now I learn the weather is going to especially raw so.....I might smoke something that is less worthy and I won't care if I only smoke half of it. Maybe a Montague Maduro or something similiar, gawd I wish I could smoke at my Moms. Happy Thxgivin!!!

Sunny and in the upper 60s here in the SF Bay Area ...

I lit a Punch after all turkey was in the oven and all the prep done for the rest of the dinner ... debated at length after dinner, but settled on a PAM which is still burning, but down to the nub ... friends are coming for dessert and an after dinner drink later ... I'm still debating on a particularly nice looking ISOM or a CAO Brazila then ... either way, it'll be good ... hope everyone's T-giving went as well as ours did ...

Moved on to a Bolivar PC after dinner, very nice.Just woke up from my turkey induced coma and after desert/pumkin pie with cool whip and ice cream I'm going to brew up some fresh roasted Guatemalen coffee and put a match to an SLR serie A.Happy Turkey day to all!
