Long before I discovered CBid, I was looking around another cigar website. I saw what I thought was a great deal. It was a very nice larger humidor that came filled with around 150 churchill cigars. I tried and tried to get ahold of their customer service to cancel the order with no avail. Now, it appears they have already debited my credit card and it shipped on the 25th. Now I am gonna be stuck with 150 churchill cigars that have no name that I know of. If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have none. BTW I only paid $150 for the lot

Well, the silver lining is that you're gonna have a humidor that will hold 150 churchill size cigars ... that in itself is a pretty good thing to have ... and hey, give them a chance ... smoke one and see what it's like ... might not be total rockets ...

and even if they are total rockets, you're in the Navy, tarheel ... you've got a whole shipload of "buddies" who're all to happy to mooch from you ... I know when my son was on the Indy, we used to send him 'care' packages from home ... we always included a lot of extra goodies and sometimes, some cheapo stuff that he could pass off as goodies when all the rest of the guys put their hands out .....

Yep, this humi full of cigars just isn't an all bad thing ... it's gonna come in MIGHTY handy ...

Tarheel,If it's from the T catalog,you can keep 2 cigars and because they have a satisfaction guaranted or money back. Keep 2 gars and send em back. X

Keep the humidor... dump the gars.
I have bought a couple of those "deals" just for the humidor and then handed out the cigars at work... most of the guys I work with don't care... after all they are FREE!!! so they must be good (what logic!!). I even dumped some nasty gars (Chantily's) I purchased at C-bid on those poor b$$t$rd$. They thought because they came in a glass tube that they were special... ROTFLMAO!!!! Good luck on getting the other company to quit pushing stuff to you. I hope you didn't sign up for their "cigar club"... they really hate taking no for an answer!!!

tarheel, Steve's suggestion is best. Tell the unelightened at your duty station they're fine Cubans and hand them out by the handful. You'll seem like Daddy Warbucks and people will be disposed to do you favors. Besides, you'll end up with a perfectly functional humidor you can fill with fine cigars won here, like Diesel, Fidalgo Negro, and La Estrella Cubana.
