How are the new Sancho Panzas?
What is a(an) "herf"?

The new SP double maduros are very good for the price, but I'd rather have maduros from some of the other Villazon brands (HdM, ERDM, Punch).
A "herf" is an informal term for three or more people getting together specifically to smoke cigars.

so, JR, if only two guys are getting together to smoke cigars, chat, drink, etc ... is that not by definition, a herf ?? if not, and only two are meeting, what term would be appropriate in place of herf?
Damn, I must've made quite a few faux pas ...

The SP maddies are great when you factor in the price. The Cervante is my favorite size of the line. A much cooler burning smoke than the smallest size allowing that maduro flavor profile to shine through.

I have to agree with Mr. Mean. With price as a judge, they are excellent. I keep some of the maduros and the regulars around when money or chores don't allow for a better smoke.
Herf is short for Hereford, which is an English breed of cattle, red with a white face. A lot like some cigar smokers I know!

I saw a guy sucking on a cigar yesterday who was white with a red face ... turned out his cigar was plugged ...
maybe the red guys with white faces have got hold of cigars that are just a tad too strong for them ... that WAS sorta the way MrsS looked when she took a big puff off the Hoja de Nicaragua Torano torp I had working the other day ...
