Thoughts on this? I’ve had 2 so far after letting them rest since November and they are really good. The wrapper seems kind of gimmicky but the burn and construction have been spot on. I’m not getting a lot of nuances beyond earth pepper and tobacco but still it’s pretty damn good.

I really like the leaf especially the corojo my favorite wrapper.

Those are made by Island Jim who has the wildest coffee and cigar lounge in the south side of Pittsburgh. It's called Leaf and bean if u wanna check it out.

As for the gimmicky wrapper, it sure is fun to watch someone light one up without removing the leaf.

I had the conny and the Sumatra and they both were fantastic. I want to try all of their sticks.

You right. It's Island Jim's blend made by Oscar. Was and probably still is his house cigar. It's also in the strip district north of the city not the south side.

Check out Leaf and Bean on Google, it's a wild little shpo

They are great! I actually have been keeping the wrappers, not sure what I'm gonna do with them. Might use them in the fire pit as starter.

Saw a shpo using the loose wrappers in his humidors for decoration. Looked pretty nice. Pretty large shpo

I guess I can now light one up - didn't know what to do with the wrappers.

Does anyone know why they've not been available on CigarBid for the last 2 months? Is it a supply/availability issue or have they stopped carrying them? I always got a decent price for them here over buying them straight up from one of the other sites. I see a few of my other sites are showing backordered so hoping its just an availability issue.

Are you related to rboy? We call him rb for short, runs a roast beef place?

You never know if cbid is going to get more stock in or if they're calling it quits on a blend. I remember waiting for months one time on some 601 Blues, and they came back after several months. I've been waiting on regular Asylums for a couple years, think those are done.

I have tried all the wrappers and my favorite is the corojo, but rest aren't slackers. So far they have responded good to aging. Reading this has flung a craving on me. Look like I'll be smoking a Leaf tomorrow. Now to decide which one.

The corojo is my favorite as well. Have you tried the 10th anniversary criollo?
