I have no delusions about the Democrat Party today.
Their stated policies are bizarre, irrational, evil, crazy and counterproductive.
Their true purpose is to first instill delusional beliefs in their followers because their only true goal is gaining and holding power. That's why they are so insistently yelping about democracy and threats to democracy.
The Party and their media toadies will repeatedly tell the acolytes that black is white, in contradiction of the plain facts until discipline to the Party is obtained.

He can't be that bad since he disagrees with Biden on numerous issues.
But to the DNC, he's a Party Insurrectionist and must be CANCELLED!

How ironic!
The centrists and the left feel the exact same way about conservatives (supporting Trump and other. MAGAs). How much do you want to bet that both sides of the issue can't see the whole picture?

I understand what you are saying and certainly, there is room for criticizing factions of the Republican side in similar ways. So make your case, it's cool.
I'm in no way so delusional to believe that all Republicans are "conservatives", a word that the left never stops telling its acolytes means something extremist, bad, something not desirable, even fascist, They say the same things about libertarians like me. A real conservative has no leftist sympathies as a centrist does. So what is a centrist? A semi-leftist? Smile
My criticisms of the Democrat Party today is based on the peculiar evil of leftist ideas and motivations which has permeated its entire history and the perverse results that it has historically delivered.
