All three are similar, especially the Umbagog and the Blue. Didnt like the Red and wont really miss the Blue--I have 4 left. I liked the Blue for 4 dollars per cigar though.
Steve said if we cant tell the difference between his cigars and the other guys, then save our money and smoke the other guys.
Well, at least I could tell the difference... the other guys are better.
It was the 6 x 56. I smoked the first one while in the jacuzzi and it was harsh and seemingly tightly rolled - difficult to get much smoke. After I got out of the spa, I finished the cigar, which puffed better...maybe the first half issues were due to the increased RH from the jacuzzi. But the flavor was not anything special.
Smoked two others since and both performed well, but the flavors were not to my liking. I'll have to dig around to find the other two of the 5 pack I bought. Maybe the extra rest will help. I'm glad you enjoyed yours. Everybody's perception of cigar flavors can differ...many here don't enjoy Mexican San Andres wrapped cigars...I like them and their bold muddy barnyard essence.
I bought a hand full of DTT cigars from a vendor who offered them at a reduced price. Along with the Umbagog, I got some Mi Queridas, Mi Querida Triqui Tracas, and some Todos Las Dias. I was disappointed with them all, too. Had high hopes since I really liked the Sobremesa...
