how to break in a boveda 62% pack?

My first choice to break in would be a sharp drop pointed skinny blade, but why would you want to break into one?

Rehydration I believe is a shot glass of water and a ziplock bag.

By "breaking in" do you mean pre-treating your bovedas?

Man, I hope you didn't just take them out of the pack and stick them straight in the box.

If the pack is hydrated (all fluid with no “chunks” in the pack) it is ready to use.
If it has chunks, or worse (totally hard and dried out), you need to recharge it.

You need
Extra large Ziplock freezer bag
4-6oz small round or square plastic container.

Fill plastic container with approx 3oz of DISTILLED water, and carefully put it in the ziplock with the Boveda(s).
Do not let the Boveda touch the distilled water.

Recharging time depends of how dried out the Boveda is………..a few days to a few weeks.
If doing multiple Bovedas that are pretty dried out, you will need to check the water level regularly and add water if needed.
