That said, most any Connecticut, imo, doesn’t get much better after a year or so.
I like Papas Fritas pretty much ROTT, but haven’t really rested any of them long enough to determine if they are much better at 12 months, than they are at 3 weeks.
100% concur with KOTC. I’ve yet to find a Connie that ages well, on the contrary, with the thinness / delicateness of the wrapper, they sometimes get worse (…wrappers tend to crack…). While I’mma normally a 65% guy, I separately store all my Connies and some Cameroon cigars at 69% RH to, hopefully, keep them from drying out.
At this point in time, I’ll ash up a Connie as a change of pace but they’re no longer in my regular rotation like they were when I first started or went out in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoyed the combination.
