#1 ) "America Outdoors" on PBS
W/ Baratund thurston
And
#2) "Human Footprint" on PBS
W/ Biologist Shane Campbell stanton

Both shows are AWESOME!!!

VERY INFORMATIVE AND super interesting...
You learn a lot from both shows...

The two best new shows I have seen this year on any cable, streaming, or whatever channel I receive....

Well worth watching!!!

Both are very hard to explain in a short synopsis....
But
#1 guy travels America and goes on tree different
Areas travels and or land, river, lake...and partakes of the areas outdoor activities...fishing , hunting, hiking , exploring...

#2 guy is quite different...hE Examines ALL OF MANS IMPACT ON THE EARTH , THE ENVIRONMENT, CLIMATE CHANGE, CONSERVATION AND POLLUTION....BUT it is very intelligent and very observant....his palm springs ,CA episode exhibits...palm springs should not exist in it's present form without mankind....native plants replaced by invasive species...#1 is Kentucky bluegrass and / or other green grass species ....

YA, I heard PBS is BIASED.

I also heard MANKIND is an invasive species and should be CANCELED.

I'm reversing my veiw on
"America Outdoors" ...
The first episode I saw was awesome...
The one this week was W.E.A.K. AND WOKE AS HELL!!!

Baratund thurston went to Oregon or Idaho to find his inner self in the forest .."forest bathing" is the new paradigm term
Which takes many forms...he ROPE climbed up into the tall canopy then came down and kinda "lost it"... started crying???
Not going to go into "why" ...suffice to say..."the role tall trees played in the south after the civil war and persecution of the
Slaves"....it was a REAL STRETCH IMHO...I get the reasoning and history is full of bad stuff, but it was a PBS WOKE STRETCH...

He was probably trying to be WOKE funny. Baratunde Thurston is a comedian. He wrote the NYT bestselling book, How to be Black
He's always looking for an angle to cash in on blackness. Maybe we should expect his next book to be titled, "How to be Black in the America Outdoors"
