Has anyone had a similar experience….. I was notified that I won an auction. After that I was never notified of tracking. My weekly shipping day passed and now it has been 8 days after the win.

I used their contact form twice to gain info and no one replied.

I called CBid today and they said the item is out of stock and they’ll ship it when it comes in. Could be 2 weeks. Could be longer.

Even though it was a helluva deal, I just cancelled it out of frustration. It also seemed a bit sketchy. I think I’m gonna stay away from the Bid for a while now.

How can you auction something off that you don’t have in your hands??? Never had that issue before with CBid. Is this the Thompson side of the business creeping in? I’ve always loved CI and CBid but I’ve had bad luck and a bad taste with Thompson.

Was this a rare occurrence or have you had issues too?

never had it happen but, wouldn't care if it did. usually getting a great deal so i don't mind waiting

Now we know where the screen name came from. Nearly 12 years here and you never had a backorder ? I suppose you never ever ordered anything that was not in stock. Thanks for the cancellation tho, as they sold me that winner of yours for half of your bid price and threw in a couple of boxes of matches too..

It was until I was informed of the Platinum membership benefits, one of which is if you are a member here for almost 12 years and only have one post you must step to the back of the line while Platinum members can grab as many as they want at your bidding price. Herfing
