I picked these up, for an experiment.

I recently picked up 4 boxes of these, for an experiment. All are the same boxcode, and were hand selected, by a favorite vendor, for their uniformity. I will be removing the cigars, from 2 boxes, and will be placing them in an empty 50 CAB, for aging. The other 2 boxes, will be left in the dress boxes, for aging. Just wanting to see how big a difference it makes.

In my experience you will not notice any difference for many years but eventually the cab does make superior aged smokes. I have done this with a cab of JL#2 from '05 vs dress boxes.

That is kind of what I expect. I will probably not even try to make a comparison for several years. They are 2014s, so probably around 2019. Since the Boli pc is a go to smoke for me, I have several cabs, from 2007 and 2008, that I will smoke first. By then they should be coming around.

This is what happens when an OCD cigar lover crossed with a mad scientist has too much time on their hand. I'm interested in the outcome. Are you going to be "sampling" annually or just wait a couple of years and see how it turns out. Good stick to do this experiment with. fog Applause Herfing

It will be a few years, before I try one. I am thinking about early 2019.

I still haven't touched these. As a matter of fact, I forgot all about them. Time to go cooler diving.
