Terrible cigar ! Would not stay lit right at the start. I’ll try to let them sit a while , I hate throwing away a cigar

I haven’t tried one (…and quite frankly, wasn’t planning on buying any…) but fo’ sure I’ll take your word on it.

BUT, mebbe you smoked it too soon? Depending on your RH preference, mebbe another month or 3 might really help. Mebbe.

Mebbe the ambient RH was too high? Iffin’ it was a dark and stormy night / day, mebbe it was just too humid when you smoked it.

Nonetheless, good luck next time to try one!

Picked up one from a shpo a year or two back since I hadn't had previously. Still sitting. Suddenly not any more anxious to get it smoked

The CAO line is hit and miss for me personally. The black is great as are quite a few others but some of them have left me cold. As always it’s personal taste

Soprano's were pretty good IMO.

Picked up a fiver for $17 a few weeks ago. Always give cigars a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks in the humidor.

Am a fan of Dominican Piloto Cubano tobacco, so willing to give it a shot.

The only other CAO I truly enjoy is the Bones..

I've enjoyed the CAO Pilon robusto and the V660 but that's about it. I am not a fan of the others. However, I have not tried the Pilon anejo yet, I plan on it, however.

(9 months later)

Smoked a Garage recently. I’m not commenting on what I thought of them. Almost sent the rest of them to the troops…..

I thought the Black was the best cigar in the world. Did we change our minds?

Have not tried the session garage and other than the Brazilia Gol I didn't try much of the CAO's until the last few years. The Gol is no longer my favorite CAO (but still high on the list). and I'm now up to about 20 CAO variations smoked. The only black I tried was the CAO Black Ltd. Edition Bengal toro and all I tasted was cedar (and I did take the sheet off first). I like the MX2 varieties and need to smoke another Bones. I've got some BX3's but haven't burned one yet. The Garage series is just ok, but the Flathead Camshaft was a bit more than just ok. Need to smoke another Potomac before I comment on it.

I love those CAO Flatheads. The trick for me was to let them rest at about 62RH for at least 2 months. Seems like it takes it that long to dry out for me.
