According to the newspaper, one option being considered by the Irish Department of Agriculture to reduce emissions from farming by a quarter by 2030 is to initiate a cull of 65,000 cows a year for three years, effectively reducing the national dairy herd by 10%. The proposal reportedly would be offered as a voluntary option to aging farmers as a "retirement exit scheme."

Easy... we need to flush, scour, rinse and get some fresh blood in there. It's not helpful to have the absolute idiots we have in there right now.

I think we should export Dave’s Killer Bread to the cows of Ireland so that they can gain super anger powers like Hulk and Speyside2 and lead a revolt over their murderous overlords.

^I'm just saying, man... it IS killer bread. The powerseed and the goodseed are my faves. White done right is my wife's fave (natch, lol). And the rye is really good too.

Pricey, but damn good bread.

This right here, I vote for this. There is not a more useless segment of any population worldwide. This would solve a problem and send a message to the rest.

They say it's the threat of existential climate change coming alive.
If only there were fewer cows, the earth would be saved.

Da cows say humans are weird.

I suspect it's the same as CA and they haven't been taking care of the forests. Don't create the roads and do the controlled burns and then you get crap like this.

The 2014 roads act and the federal government only fighting fires when they hit an acreage number have decimated forests.

I heard the WOKE Canadian government doesn't allow controlled burns like the native tribes used to do.
Mismanagement is what governments are best at. I don't know why anybody would want to put them in control of anything.

They always pick a bogeyman to blame for their mismanagement and their need for thievery. They create some fantastical monster that needs to be destroyed, like CLIMATE CHANGE or GLOBAL WARMING so then they can say give us TRILLIONS of DOLLARS so we can slay the monster. Human cattle like da cows are just victims of their dastardly schemes.

Prescribed burns can be problematic too especially when roads have been blocked and FF on National forest land has certain ROE.
