Why do some people have to start there bids so high, I mean bids start at $1 and some jerk starts a bid on ONE unit at $4.50 and ruins it for everyone else who wants to bid a low price, Now i don't want to bid $4.50 on a single cigar that i usually get for a lower price, it's just not cool Brick wall

For some peeps, winning is everything even if you have to bid over retail. WINNING!

Because some people are SMART bidders.
I digress…
You have been here almost 5 years, and NOW you limp in with a weak azz complaint about bidding, which simply illustrates how LITTLE you know about how bidding works.
Do your freakin homework!

Gawd this smelly know nothing n00b is getting my chitty day off to an even chittier start…

Tax deduction.

&

It has been rumored single cigar auction winners sometimes find additional goodies in their packages, like a chemical element which is a dense, malleable, ductile, highly unreactive, precious, silverish-white transition metal. and the relation between an element of a set, or class and the set or class itself.

Guilty as charged…

Oh, and for the noob, the technique is called “bubble bidding”…
Clearly too complicated for this noob to comprehend, so I wont bother explaining it…
I’d have more success teaching a chimpanzee how to speak Italian.

Placing high bids is better than placing bids while high (or drunk)... Not that it has ever happened to me in the past... just heard that happens sometimes to others

Sometimes CBID puts a starting bid, mostly on better cigars and once a week they have a bunch go up with a starting bid that is too high, but the suckers bid on them anyway. They just put up 25 or so today with high starting bids.

Different perspective.

Being drunk is The Way. If you are loaded, not only are you more likely to win the auction, it increases the chances of winning multiple lots.

$100 for a fiver of Gurkhas makes them a $20 stick cigars.

That's nothing. In the early stages of my addiction I bought a bunch of boxes of Puros Indios without even smoking one of them.

From the description they sounded lovely and I couldn't believe they were auctioning off as such a low price... grab a few boxes before the sell out.

Yeah, just flush the money down the tubes. The best thing about them is they came in a cedar box.

I'm not even sure they make Puros Indio anymore.

Edit: No longer available

Losing a bid is a sign of weakness.

We got no time for beta males around here.

Can someone get this guy a bud light?

When I was a drinker, I wouldn't wish a Bud Lite on my worst enemy. That $hit is piss water.

Bud Light is a German beer when compared with Miller Lite. ML always gave me a headache and a runny nose before I’d finish the fist can.
