I was lucky enough to find a few last week, and bought a Robusto and ???, forgot the name(7" and about a 46 ring). They were reasonably priced and limited to two per customer.

The Robusto was fantastic, flavorful and full bodied...just the way I like'em. I'm saving the other for a special occasion.

Just wondering what kinds of Opus X you tried and your favorites!!!!

I like 'em all... but difficult to justify the price they can get.

Smoked my first and last Opus X two weeks ago.

A decent smoke if it was half the price. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

To me, a far better smoke is the AF Hemingway Classic (Maduro, please!). Double Corona, 7"/48 gauge, w/ a maduro wrapper, Take me home, country roads!!!

My favorite OpusX is the one that's gifted to me. I'll be damned if I buy one. There's MUCH better available for the money. Just my opinion :)

I have purchased 1 Opus in my life and that was to trade it to smithbw. All the others have been trades or gifts. I hear ya on the prices.

I have seen a wide range of prices, I paid $12-$15 each. It is expensive but better than some of the prices I've seen at some of the online sites, $22-$30 each.

Maybe I'll pick up a few for trade!

Never had an Opus I didn't like. I've got a humi full of about 30+ of them from the smallest to the Forbidden-X.

Not all were pricey, none were cheap, some were gifts, but all are exceptional.

Are they worth the money - only if you like em! They're too spicey or complex for some tastes. Not for the timid or inexperienced palate. They give you a nice buzz though!!

But hey - life's too short to smoke cheap cigars!!

I'd go along with I.am.Steve... but I have bought several and in the past but can't honestly remember which was the best... which probably means they were not that much remarkable to me...

I don’t smoke OX enough to have a favorite but I generally stick to smaller vitolas so PL, Power Rangers, PerfecXion No. 4 & 5, CG and the Robusto.

My Next one is my Fav... What ever it ends up being. I have been gifted several over the years and only ever bought 1 as i have a hard time justifying the price compared to other great cigars for cheaper. Currently have 3 X resting, had one on New Years day while watching football as i decided to start the new year with all top shelf stuff.

I like the 20th anniversary the best. Liked the Perfexion 4 Oro Oscuro too!

All the other ones I’ve tried were just OK, not amazing. Some folks have recommended to age Opus’s. Haven’t tried that yet, but will of I ever get one that’s not the 20th or the Oro.

Man the search engine sucks…..

They deleted the wet opus thread?!!! Man….

My favorite is the xXx and “Celticbomber” Juice (since I can’t use the real word here)

My favorite Opus X is when I can finally find one at MSRP…funny how they sell for far higher than MSRP and many can’t get enough of them while Gurkhas sell at a fraction of MSRP and I wouldn’t take one for free.
