I’ve bid on WAY more auctions then I will ever admit to and have never seen this happen. I usually use chrome either on my laptop or phone.

I’mma also on a Mac (iPad) and use Safari but have never (…knock on wood…) had a glitch like yours. But, I only infrequently lowball bid so that might be my saving grace.

You shouldn't bid when you are drunk unless you have a designated bidder handy.

An issue I found was that when I click on the bid box, enter a bid and then immedeately SCROLL up or down, the scrolling increases or decreases the amount I entered. I have to click outside the bid box before I scroll or the amount changes.

^Yep.

That was my first thought, but I've never scrolled the bid all the way from $15.50 to $72.
