I was gifted a box of Acid Cigarillos. Not exactly my thing but that box is about $140 so I want to take care of them. Question is how long can I keep the box, still wrapped in cellophane, unopened till the smokes go bad? I don’t want to put them in my humi with other smokes. Is there some time limit on these things?

Don’t think the cello is gonna hold humidity, if you’re worried throw them in a O-ring sealed Tupperware with a boveda pack.

Yeah, that'd do it. Probably be able to keep them much longer than you want to that way.

Depending on your climate it varies. If its humid in your area they'll last forever, if not its takes a week or two to dry out to your climate. Throw them in a big ziplock bag of tupperware with a boveda if you're concerned.

If they become unsmokeable due to neglect, does that make them better or worse than when they were smokeable?

Give em away.

You won't like them*.

I have found that keeping a few of these cigarillos around is a great way to get newbies or non-cigar smokers to light up with me. The wife doesn’t smoke but she’ll do a rillo just to sit out with me. I don’t mind the company!

I normally recommend lettuce for humidification but for Acid cigarillos I would go with skunk cabbage.

I recommend just throwing them away.

So the saga of these freaky little things continues… I open the box and there are 5 cigarillos in each little ziplock baggie. About 20 bags of these things.
So (and I promise I’m not going to bother you guys any longer with this ****) do I take them out of the baggies? I have a spare seasoned humidor and it’s at 70 rh

No leave them in the bags. Your spare seasoned humidor will forever smell like grandma’s purse if you do this. I already gave you the correct answer.

If your not throwing away just buy a Tupperware container and a boveda. Problem solved
