Totally agree.
First few Diesels were w-a-y too strong for my nOOb palate so stashed them away for a later day. Same with every other gifted or traded for Diesel. Eventually when I sparked one up a couple years later, the “Accidental Aging” did wonders for them. They still retained a good amount of strength and body but the harshness had dissipated. While I don’t smoke too many of them, when I do, the added rest has really improved the smoking experience.
As a rule of thumb, any AJ blended cigar rated as Full or Med-Full, gets the minimum 2-year added rest, regardless of source.
