When they pull me from the mangled pile of steel or in a body bag from the sleeper, that’s my retirement plan. We’ve got guys in there 70’s still running hard and I hope I’ll be able to as well.

For some fun, light, easy reading you should check out Patrick McManus, He used to write for Field & Stream many years ago.

=d> That's great!
Shawn, I think you need to move to Florida, buy a boot and then you can have a nice fishing retirement. Just remember that it's HOT fishing in Florida. Not like the cushy weather in Southern California.

It's 95 degrees outside right now. In April.
Gunner... I have used that "Here, fishy fishy, fishy..." technique. I'm not as good as Ernie, but sometimes it works.

MACS, I have to tell you, I am beyond bored being retired. Most of my hobbies are not doable now. Maybe I'll be less bored once things open up.

I'm bored as f---. Wouldn't be so bad if the covid wasn't f---in sh-t up. I could be fishing on the charters, but I did search for jobs near me already.
Need to do something, and throwing extra $$ at the mortgage sounds like a great idea.

With your background I'm sure you could do security work, in these times, just don't try it in St Louis.
