Can someone give me some info on the Pleiades Brand. I received a free one at a show and after about a year in the humidor I tried it. It was excellent. It was a mild smoke with an excellent draw and perfect burn. I see the Pleiades Line here but do they differ a lot from size to size? Last thing! What would be concidered a similiar brand? Thanks all!

I agree, Pleiades are very well made, mild smokes, that I enjoy very much. I bought a box before vacation at the beach, always looked forward to coffee, newspaper, and a Pleiades on the dune deck to start another day. I've tried both the torpedo and churchill sizes, both are the same. As for brands similar, it reminds me of the old Por Larranaga's before they changed the blend. I hear that they are going back to the old style soon.

ooops! The thought that any one would buy a Pleiades made me miss post. Everyone please don't but any of these. They are terrible and you won't like them. I'LL SAVE YOU ALL AND BUY THEM ALL MYSELF. What a sacrafice I make for my friends here at CB.

Calm down I was only kidding about buying them all. It is a fantastic cigar all around. Strangly enough, I'm having one now. A Saturn 8x52. ummm good! Please don't outbid me. Thanks

Thanks to all who have responded! It looks like I'm going to have to get a whole box of the churchills!
Is there anything in the Davidoff line to compare?
