Irrespective of anything the cigar shops do to try to "bring back the boom" (and who could blame the shops for trying?), the enthusiastic cooperation of the consumer will be required for a boom to exist.
The far greater concern, IMNSHO, is the effect TAXES are having on prices ... the furshlugginer* government pushes "sin" taxes because the majority of your lawmakers constituents don't smoke and therefore, won't raise an outcry. (sorta like the citizenry of the US back in the 30's when FDR pushed the income tax through ... (" don't worry ... the average guy won't have to pay ... we'll soak the rich") ...
The solution is to get more people smoking ... maybe the best thing is for each of us to do a little 'missionary' work ... give a cigar to your neighbors and get them to go and do likewise ... lol
*furshlugginer: An old MAD magazine word that could mean anything you wanted it to mean.
