The Corp turned her from a decent student to a driven individual. She saw action in Afghanistan, still has problems with it, but deals with those issues appropriately. I would give that girl my last gun in a firefight, any time. I have never seen such accuracy before.
Thank you sir, This is a prime example of what I am speaking of. I have met folks that was a lot younger than me that have been through such and I was amazed at the mentality. It was as if I was speaking with a respectable 30 to 40 year old in a 19 - 21 year old body. The wisdom was astounding, the respect for the value of their brothers in arms and their comrades lives above their own. The sad part is things like having to deal with the problems of being in and seeing the action but knowing that most would do it again and again. This is what the civilian population does not get in life for the most part at that age.
By the way Cath, Please tell sis for me that I do greatly appreciate her service and what she has given for me and mine. It is a debt that can never be repaid and I say this to all that have served at any time.
