Back in July, I sent Nick a few Cupido Tuxedos to try before he committed to buying a box, (just on my recommendation).
Well, needless to say, he loved them and decided to send me a "payback".
Well, that "payback" arrived today, to my COMPLETE surprise.
I never picked up on the fact that my zip code was mentioned in his
"Four On Their Way Out The Door (Look at me)" post on the TRADES board last week.

Nick's idea of a "payback" is:
Oliva Series V lancero - Love the V, nh the lancero
Aquitaine Toro - nh, nho
Davidoff Geneve LE - nh ( THIS is an expensive cigar !)
Camacho Diploma - nh
TAT The Jackal - nh, but have been looking forward to trying one ever since they were released
Partagas 150 lancero - What else can I say but . . . . . ARE YOU **** KIDDING ME ?
My Father LE 2015 5th Anniversary Toro - nh, but am SO looking forward to smoking

Nick,
All I can say is Thank You so much.
The magnitude of this "payback" is so far beyond "over the top", and was totally uncalled for.
I am truly humbled by your unbelievable generosity, my friend.

I really appreciated the outta the blue bomb you sent me a few months back after I asked about the tuxedos! You read my mind and in addition to those sent me a bunch of things I had wanted to try (la sirena, lat surrogates, MF Lance, Jericho Hill!! all great stuffs). Plus, you convinced me to write my first review which I don't want to do everytime I smoke but when I can take the time and really think about it was fun!

I had been thinking about pay back for a while and picked things up here and there that I saw while traveling for work! The davidoff is a golden band that supposedly only their best retailers get a few boxes a year. The camacho is from like 07-08 (if i remmeber right) i found an almost full box a bit back at the local and bought it up. Its definitely one of my favorite smokes! The Aquitaine is a Roma Craft Cromagnon (I think i remember that). The local just started carrying them. I had remembered that someone wrote a post about the part 150s and anticipating the 170s but I didn't attribute it to you in my mind until it came up the other day when you referenced your earlier post. At that point, it was done deal!

I've only had the camacho and oliva so far but I've got a twin for all of those except the part150. We'll have to compare notes!! The local shop is still sitting on a small pile of 150s, next time I'm in there I'll have to burn one in the lounge.

Edit: PS ****- Apparently I cant count. You sent me 8 and I only sent 7!!! BOMB JESPEAR!

My wife and I are celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary tomorrow, Tuesday 10/27.
I have quite a few "special occasion" cigars on hand and was trying to decide which one to go with.
Nick . . . You made my decision for me when I saw that P-150 ! ThumpUp

Smoked it during the Mets/Royals game.
What a fantastic cigar !
It lasted two hours, (pic pending) and the game is in extra innings.
Thanks again, Nick . . . and Thank You all for the kind words.
